7 0007 - Constructing an Ecosystem and some Finishing Touches

After a few more days, my Slime Count reached 100 Slimes and mined almost everything from the first floor, leaving only my core room and its walls at the center of the floor.

I mostly kept the stone walls around my core as protection and reinforced them with Mana to make the stone more challenging to break, increasing the defense around my core.

I learned how to reinforce materials with my Mana from an experiment I was doing with my inventory.

I was experimenting with whether I could move the material in my inventory with Mana or if I had to have my monsters move the material instead.

I can remove the material in my inventory anywhere in my Dungeon from what I found. Still, the only way to move them afterward is by using my Mana Tendrils or by doing it all over again by putting it back into my inventory.

Other than that, I have had my Slimes wander around now that I have mined out the entire floor, saving much of the stone and material by placing it in my inventory instead of letting the slimes consume it.

For these past couple of days, I have been putting in some thought and decided to add more...diversity to my floor.

I wanted to add two more Monster types to the floor and add some plant life to improve the look of the floor.

So I had my Slimes begin eating away at the ceiling until the size reached 100 feet in height or roughly 30 and 1/2 meters.

I bet there is a border for the ceiling seeing as I cannot mine the floor or have the slimes consume the stone floor, but they seemed to be able to eat away at the top.

Other than that, I also finally opened my Dungeon Plant Menu.

Like the Monster Menu, this menu also had many kinds of plants available for purchase and using my Free Unlocks, and I got Dungeon Grass, Dungeon Trees, Dungeon Moss, Dungeon Wild Berries, Neptune's Flowers, and Fog Flowers.

As my Slimes mined away at the roof of my Dungeon, I had my Dirt Slimes start covering the floor of the Dungeon with Dirt while my Soil Slime followed behind and fertilized the dirt.

After a few minutes, I started by creating Neptune's Flowers thenMosss to absorb the water produced by the Flowers.

After an unknown amount of time of work, the Slimes finished expanding the roof, and the floor was covered in plant life.

The only thing I was waiting on as of now, was the Trees to grow.

As of now, they were mere saplings, but to my surprise, they grew pretty fast, with the saplings growing at a visible but slow speed.

But I was not going to stop here.

I wanted to add even more variety to my Dungeon in the form of Danger.

So after some thought, I unlocked two more Monster Templates using my Free Unlocks.

Specifically, the Giant Ant Template and the Giant Rat Template.

The Rat Swarm Vs. the Ant Hive Vs. the Slime Horde.

This would be an experiment for my future floors, whether or not a conflict between my Monsters would be worthwhile.

I wanted to know if they could gain levels from killing each other as well, as another experiment, of course.

I also chose the Giant Rat and Giant Ant Templates because I remembered Rats and Ants were rapid breeders and grew their numbers at ridiculous speeds.

And yet another reason why I decided to unlock two more Monster Templates was the Points I would earn from evolving them.

After summoning both a Giant Ant and Giant Rat(and passing out both times), I opened their Statuses.
