After Lily and Khaval went to their respective training environments, Aakesh closed all his senses except for direction.

A few moments later, Aakesh found himself staring at the small blue screen with the sword in his hand.

Aakesh reflexively tapped on the screen, choosing to start the first round of battle. Following that, a white light washed over the arena.

Growl!

A growl filled with killing intent rang in Aakesh's head, and he turned around. The opponent for that day's battle presented himself.

It was a humanoid, transparent creature floating on the battlefield. It had no legs to speak of, only a tail like the end of a dialog box.

Aakesh recognized the race of the creature with a single glance. It was a member of the Bhusidra race, a race in the spirit group, and it was now extinct in the Sacred Dimension.
