Chapter 9: Legs For DAYS

— Aniz POV —

My fury and rage was at a high with my emotional suppressor trying and failing. After a while, I looked around the room. Everyone was trembling terrified except the person I'm worried for. Shit! I'm letting my emotional take hold. I try to breath in breath out and then my emotional suppressor takes hold. The fury is still their just not going out.

"I'm sorry, I let my emotions get the better of me."

Everyone bowed to me in the room when Albedo spoke. "I'm sorry master, if we had done a better job you would not have to feel like that. We failed you and him."

Pestonia walked in now and felt something was wrong and kneeled with the rest of them. "What is wrong with him?"

Pestonia kneels lower, don't know how that happened but it did. "The effect of the item seems to made him catatonic, I don't know how but it did. Everything in his body seem fine, it's like it was before exempt now his mana along with an unknown energy seem to be circulating within him. I don't know how long he will be catatonic for but, my opinion, as long as we make sure he get his nutrients he should be fine after an unknown amount of time."

"So all we have to do is wait? And he'll be fine after a while?"

"Yes my lord, though he will still need his daily necessities like all living things. We will have to treat him li-"

"YOU WILL TREAT HIM AS A SUPREME BEING! ACT LIKE IT!" I realize what I just did. Some aura of death came off me again. "Sorry, I let my emotions get the better of me again."

I walk over to the bedside and put my honey hand on his shoulder when Albedo spoke. "What are you going to do my lord?"

"Mmmm. We let me try something by to see." I pull out my [wish upon a star] ring that lets me use the super tier spell 3 times a day. I activated it and a bluish sphere of ever changing runes surround me. I said my wish, "heal my friend fully." The sphere starts to spread out.

*crack and shatter sound*

The sphere shatters into little pieces and Kaleb looks like he is in pain now while also spasming slightly. I look at him just say,

"Fuck."

— Time skip (beginning of day after he got attacked) —

My emotion suppressor must have broke because I'm so angry but at the same time I'm calm, or at least on the outside. My only friend in this new world was injured before and I sent him out into the field. Then he got injured again while trying to protect our friends children. I can't fault him for that, even after I realized he got hit with a world item.

When I realized that, that must have when my suppressor broke because I was ready to go out and murder everyone of those that attacked him even though I don't know who they are. But then I did something and made me more angry and I can only fault myself with it.

Albedo came in with Demiurge and need some answers. "What's going on my lord?"

"Do you know what is affect lord Blaze?" Asked Demiurge.

I put my hard into an interlocking prayer line a ruler who's thinking with my thumbs on my chin. "I thinks so, but it is dangerous and we must be prepared for more of it. How much of an idiot I am. Because of me my friend got injured by an item I didn't even think existed in this world even though we both used them."

"What are they?"

"World items."

I went with them to the treasury to equip most of the guardians with their own world items.

— Time skip (later that night) —

"What is it Albedo?"

"What do you want done with the elves that Blaze brought in?"

"What were they doing before, and what did You think should done with them?" I looked at her dead in the eyes. Blaze wanted them to train and get stronger. They are one of his most loyal supporter after he saved them and he made it so that they can get very strong if they work at it.

"We should make them leave or execute them so no information gets out."

I look at her eyes in disbelief. 'WHAT THE FUCK!' I should have expected this out of her. "No, what did Blaze want done with them? Answer honestly holding nothing back."

"He saved them my lord, they respect and fear him while they will also fight for him, though I suspect not to the death like anything and anyone from Nazzarik would. He was having them train with Aura, Mare, and Cocytus."

I faceplam looking at her while she's looking like I'm god. I should be use to it by now but I'm not. "Why would he bring them here to get killed. Just train them like they've been doing. Also make them go to the cafeterias for meals, not bring them to their room. Blazes homemade meals are the best.

God I wish I still had tastebuds if all I ate was his food. Even in our home world, he sometimes gets actual food and whenever we would have a guild meeting irl, he bring something for all of us to try. It wasn't much as most of the guild members just got a bite, but for us, it meant the world.

— Time skip —

The adventures guild called for a meeting about a new vampire that showed up and the forest was destroyed with fire and death. I went and said I destroyed the forest saying I was after the vampire and killed it. One of the adventures was on me about that and I drew a dagger of bone with a silver flame blade and a broken summoning crystal as proof that I killed it and the items I used.

They rewarded me by moving me up to orchalium and the guild master apologized for it not being adamantine. I am a hero now.

— time skip —

Now I was focusing on the lizardmen. Cocytus just failed but I'm happy he failed. He going to learn more. Now I'm trying to consider bringing Kaleb into this on a wheel chair. But the bane of everyone in a wheel chair, stairs. And they won't be insignificant steps either.

Imma just leave him.

I also had to change Cocytus punishment to village ruling while also still having to train the warrior of the trio. Apparently she has the strength and semi reflex's so he just training her in real battle situations and fine tuning her instincts while making sure she keeps them on at all time.

Aura and Mare trained the ranger and druid respectively and they both say that they have all the skills and semi instincts but they need to memorize the plants and spells, and know how to use them in battle. They need to be able to know what, when, and how to uses the spells for the druid. For the ranger Aura has been teaching her all the plants and everything she knows while also fine tuning her instincts and keeping them on all the time.

— Time skip (1 month) — everything happens the same —

I just got back from another adventure and visited my friends room. Apparently ever since I tried using the super tier spell his magic and unknown energy circulation has increased remarkably but he looks as if he is in constant pain. I think she is.

I made sure the maids have food and drink on standby for him while also making sure he get his daily hygiene. A lava bath and other stuff. I also had Pestonia leading them and making her head maid duties secondary. I walked by him and put my hand on his shoulder and said quietly, "sorry," hoping nobody heard me. I then left for my own room for paperwork.

I'm going over a report sent by the white skinned lizard man who though I wanted her. I still remember the hole in the wall Albedo made. Fricken yanderes man. They scary but man would they do everything for you.

Then a maid burst through the door and yelled, "something going on with Lord Blaze! Pestonia sent me to-"

I was already out of my seat going out the door. Then I immediately to to his room and went back into his bedroom ignoring the maids who were sleeping but got up and were worried. Several maids look worried and I looked at him. He was sweating, don't know how but his sweat was burning the the fire proof sheet.

Is that his blood then?

Then fire starts surrounding him. It looks like a cocoon. All of the way around. It's even burning the bed but he staying in one place. So I cast a telekinesis spell and move him into the lava bathroom. The lava maidens wanted him in the center and I looked at Pestonia who said that it wouldn't hurt. I move him into the center and sent him in slowly.

The lava completely covered him and started boiling and popping the lava maidens got out. The lava in the middle where I put him was getting hotter and hotter and started turning white. Then it started rippling outward from their like it was water and not superheated lava.

*Boooooooooom!!!*

The rubble faded and the middle collapsed in on itself.

Kaleb POV:

All I felt was mana, in and around me. All I felt was the moment, nothing before or after on in. Then I felt something wash over me and I felt pain. So now I tried felling the mana, now I felt something besides mana and circulating that with my mana.

I felt it building up in all my body so I saved up as much as I could and let it out all at once.

I felt a nice warm all around me and moved all my body. And remember all everything. Then I move to get up and I realize I'm in the middle of my lava bath and the deepest part. Like 10 foot deep. So I went up and did a Jesus walk while mildly dancing with my mother fucking LEGS.

I dance over to Aniz and he's staring at me in shock. I pull him in and hug the shit out of him.

"I'm back bitchessssssss!"
