I must figure out my power.

Darkness will always find a way to you no matter what

I need to figure out my power for one reason. To protect myself and Ivanna. "Ivanna." I say just waking up. I noticed she wasn't there probably at school I hope she's ok. I close my eyes to take a nap and hope she wakes me up when she comes by later.

I hear footsteps coming down the hallway. "Roku you awake?" Ivanna said walking in the room

"Sadly."

"Hey be happy your even alive I could have lost you."

"Yeah I know but still my side hurts a bunch."

"I said be happy!" She yelled and stared straight at me. I suddenly felt a feeling of warmth and happiness come over me and her red eyes started to glow. "What's going on Ivanna?" I asked

"What do you mean Roku?"

"You yelled be happy and I felt happy and your eyes started to glow."

"Well I didn't feel anything so maybe you just saw something."

"Whatever." I scoffed turning away from her. It was strange I have never seen her eyes glow or her to be able to control me.

It was silent for much of that visit I still questioned how she made me happy and why her eyes glowed. I think I need rest I do get released tomorrow anyway.

Time Skip to Next Day

"Get a move on Roku it's time to go!" Kylie yelled at me.

"I'm going jeez Kylie."

"Well maybe you'd be quicker if you didn't jump in front of knives."

"He stabbed me I didn't just jump onto a knife!"

"Well we all have our own sides of the story don't we."

"Yeah ok." I finally make it to the car. As Julie is driving us home I asked her something.

Dang got to hate when authors leave a cliffhanger right
