Hello everyone.

Happy reading!

"What's wrong with you, Jess?" Tara asked anxiously.

"No, nothing." Jess replied in a disappointed tone.

"Did you just see anything scary or something like hmm you what i am saying." Tara asked curiously.

"No, Nothing scary or anything like that. Where did you go, Tara?" Jess replied as she stepped back onto the bed.

"Toilet." Tara replied as she closed the door of their room.

"How long?" Asked Jess who had been sitting on the bed.

"Maybe ten minutes ago." Tara answered while walking.

"Ten minutes ago?" Jess asked in an astonished tone.

"Yeah, so what?" Tara answered while looking at Jess with a confused look.

"Nothing." Jess replied, frowning in confusion.

"Why is this window open?" Tara asked as she closed the window of their room, which was wide open.

"The window was closed this afternoon, right? That means it's real." Jess said, staring at the closed window with a terrified expression.

"Of course this window is real." Tara replied with a laugh.

"I mean the man." Jess said as she looked at Tara with a worried look.

"Which man?" Tara asked, looking at Jess with a confused look.

"No, He must be one of them but why his shape is so different? I mean he looks like a human but he is not human." Jess said which sounded like an indistinct mutter.

"What are you talking about? Let's sleep again." Tara said while lying on the bed. She didn't care what Jess said, which she found strange and unclear.

"It must be a dream. True, this is just a dream." Jess said as she closed her eyes tightly. "Yes. It's just a dream." Jess said again and then she fell back asleep soundly.

The next day, on a sunny morning. The head of the orphanage, the nanny, and the other children of the orphanage have prepared a surprise party for Jess. Today is Jess's twenty-fifth birthday. A beautiful and sweet girl who used to run around in this house has transformed into a beautiful woman who is full of lots of charm.

Maybe some of you are wondering why Jess and Tara remain in this orphanage while other children of their age have been adopted by other families when they were little. That's because Jess and Tara chose to stayed in this orphanage instead of being adopted by a family. It is their choice and the orphanage cannot force them to be adopted by other families who are willing to take care of them.

Another reason is because Jess and Tara don't want to be apart from each other. They are both like a real siblings. They eat together, play together, sleep together, study together and create problems together. Like sisters born to the same father and mother. Their togetherness made the head of the orphanage decide to adopt them both as her children.

If she tells it all again, it might take her all day to tell it. No one thought that time would run this fast. Several people have come and gone during these twenty-five years. Some are still alive and some have died because of their illness. We never know what God's secret is and we also never know what will happen in the future. All we know is how we can best live today and tomorrow.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESSAMY!"

"Oh, my God." Jess said in surprise, she covered her mouth with both hands.

Happy birthday songs were sung with joy. Everyone happily celebrates Jess's special day. Jess wiped her tears while continuing to maintain the cute smile she always showed. But this time it felt much more sincere and pure. Tara stepped forward so she could stand right in front of Jess. In both her hands was a medium sized cake which looked very pretty with all the simple decorations on it. Jess immediately blew out all the candles burning above her after praying. The people who witnessed the moment immediately clapped their hands loudly and some people were moved to tears of their joy.

"Happy birthday my dear." Said the head of the orphanage, hugging Jess.

"Thank you, Mom." Jess said as she returned the warm hug from the woman.

"You are growing so fast. I feel like I'm missing my sweet little daughter." Said the woman with a sad look.

"I'm still your little daughter, Mom." Lova said, smiling broadly.

"You are not my little daughter anymore. You have become a beautiful woman full of charm. You are an adult now and maybe soon you will get married." Said the woman again with a proud smile.

"I haven't thought about it, Mom. I still want to be with you and make you happy." Jess said with a smile.

"We will always be happy if you are happy too. Don't think about us and look for your happiness from now on, honey. You are an adult and have the right to choose your own path. Seek your true love and live your own life. That's all we expect of you." The woman said, gently stroking Jess's face.

"I'll try to find it, mom. Don't worry. But not now. Maybe in five years." Jess said with a big smile.

"I leave all decisions to you. Your life is yours. You have the right to decide what you want."

The woman stepped back and this time it was Tara's turn to step up and congratulate Jess. The two of them are like inseparable sisters. Yes, even though sometimes the two of them quarrel over this and that but deep down inside their hearts. Both Tara and Jess love each other. They have really good chemistry too.

"Happy birthday my sister!" Tara said, smiling broadly.

"Thank you, Tara." Jess replied with emotion.

"You're old now." Tara said with a laugh.

"We're only two months apart and you said I'm old?!" Jess asked, raising her eyebrows.

"I'm just kidding, sister." Tara answered with a loud laugh and they both laughed together.

"Oh yes, this morning I discovered this when I opened our bedroom window." Tara said, handing Jess a small box.

"What is this?" Jess asked confused, accepting the mysterious little box.

"I don't know. I found it on the window so I thought it was a gift for you from a secret fan." Tara answered while shrugging her shoulders.

"I've never had a secret fan." Jess said, frowning in confusion.

"Just accept it." Tara said, forcing Jess to accept the box.

"Ok." Jess replied after thinking for a moment.

"Now is party time!" Tara said excitedly.

"Ah ... I'm sorry. I have to go because I have class this morning." Jess said, feeling guilty.

"Ah, this year you are like this again." Tara said with disappointment.

"Sorry, you guys just eat it all because I'll be home at night. I love you guys. See you tonight." Jess said as she walked toward the door.

"We love you too. Be careful on the road and take care of yourself." Said the head of the orphanage.

"Alright, Mom." Jess replied, waving her hand.

"See you, Sister." Tara said, waving her hand.

"See you, Jessamy." All the kids who were there said, waving their hands at Jess.

"See you, guys." Jess answered before the door closed tightly.

Jess's first activity at twenty-five was studying. This morning she really wanted to be with her family because in previous years she always missed her birthday. Whether it's because of exams, college or work. She thought this morning's class was canceled but in fact this morning's class was not canceled. She never missed a class during college because the money she spent to attend college was not small.

It takes some odd jobs that she does so she can pay her tuition fees. Jess is majoring in business because there is no other major that can match her special abilities. Maybe there is but not in accordance with her the demand and talent. She used to want to be a doctor but in the hospital there are so many strange creatures that it can make her stressful if she has to continue to be there for a very long time.

Finally she could not take all the jobs and majors related to health. Not only that. Jess could not take art majors, basic subjects such as mathematics and physics, engineering majors, and other majors related to scientific subjects because she honestly got dizzy about such subjects. And as a result, after thinking for a long time, she finally chose the business major that she thought was the most appropriate.

Maybe after graduating Jess will open a company that deals with the construction and sale of buildings that are considered haunted. Jess felt that the job was the most suitable job for her. The problem with ghosts is Jess's specialty. Whether the ghost will leave the building or not is the last thing. Jess wasn't too scared to look at them anyway because she was used to it.

Ok, back to the present. Jess looked at the little box Tara had given her earlier. For the first time ever she received a gift from someone she didn't even know. Usually she would only get gifts from the head of the orphanage and sometimes Tara took the initiative to give gifts for her but that rarely happened.

Jess opened the little box with great care. There is a necklace with a small heart-shaped pendant and a small note on it. Jess's eyes immediately sparkled and widened when she saw the necklace. Like magic that immediately made Jess hooked and fell into the charm of the necklace. Jess read the little note on the necklace and she felt strange about the message.

'You are the last person.'
