67 The Decision

AYAN'S POV

After meeting with the emperor that night I was taken back to the bedroom the servants had initially cleaned me up in to sleep. The servants informed me the room would be my quarters whilst I was staying at the palace.

I was prepared for bed and then finally left alone to rest. I went up to the large bed and jumped right onto it. I exhaled deeply as I unwinded, today had been more than eventful. Lying on my back my gaze turned to the high ceiling of the room and then to the rest of the room. The room was large and spacious, it was almost as large as my house at the estate.

To think I would have gone from nearly receiving a death sentence to staying in the palace. I was so so grateful. My thoughts then went back to the trial. I had miraculously been proven innocent. But now what was next for me? Would I become the Crown Prince's governess?
