96 I Don't Think I can do it anymore

AYAN'S POV

"Did you hear His Majesty will be going on a date!" Kaylee announced as my servants prepared me for the day.

I remembered that night when I signed my contract at the terrace when he informed me that he had to look for a wife in case Teon refused to take on the role of the heir.

"Really?" I asked her. "Whom with?"

"Apparently, it's Lady Muron." Layla the other servant responded.

Ah, that woman  Teon and I bumped into who taking a walk in the park. Teon did say they might be together so it made sense he would ask her.

"We always used to laugh at how brazen she was to scantily dress and go for 'walks' in the gardens or visit the library to 'read' to bump into the Emperor but it looks like her efforts paid off," Layla commented.

"She certainly proved us wrong."

"When will it be?" Kaylee asked.

"In three days,"

Well, I hoped his date with her went well.
