73 I can't walk on eggshells

He made eye contact with me as he stepped further into the room. "Ayan!" He cried out as he rushed towards me frantically. He seemed excited to see me.

I immediately felt nervous as he came to stand in front of me and I looked up at him as he outstretched his hand...to touch me.

Looking at his hand, it immediately reminded me of when he had hit me back at the estate before I was arrested. Then with no control over myself, I immediately flinched and recoiled from him.

"Ayan, what's wrong?" He asked surprised. It was just so overwhelming for me to have to talk directly to him again considering that the last time I was with him in person was when he had me arrested.
