Caught Red Handed
As the Emperor and General went to go change out of their armor I made my way to return to my seat in the audience. I met with Laika along the way and we walked together.
"So how did it feel being kissed by the emperor?" She asked.
For a moment I didn't know what she was talking about then realized she meant when the Emperor kissed my hand. "I didn't think much of it," I told her.
"Oh really?" She asked an annoying smirk on her face. She really liked teasing, didn't she? "You should have seen the General's face he looked so jealous."
"I doubt it, I mean he knew there was a possibility of him kissing my hand if the emperor won. "
"Oh, when did you become such a serious person? " She questioned. I was amazed by how comfortable Laika was becoming around me. She really didn't hold grudges for long, did she?
We reached the rest of the harem and they glared at us as we sat down at our seats.
