Bound and Tied

GENERAL KANGS POV 

During the ride to General Muron's estate, I was just hoping Arsen hadn't figured it out yet and wasn't already tailing me. I only had a few hours probably before he found me for sure. 

I looked down at the unconscious Ayan who looked peacefully asleep in my arms.  "I'm sorry for being so rough on you before and I'm sorry for what I'm about to do to you next, but It'll all be over soon. I promise," I whispered to her.

I was on edge the entire time as I caressed her. I wanted the carriage to go faster but it was already at it's maximum speed.

After a while, I felt a little relieved when I finally saw the gates of General Muron's estate up ahead. I made it this far without getting caught. The gates were opened and the carriage entered.

I found General Muron, and some of his servants waiting near the carriage driveway. The carriage stopped right in front of them.
