An unlikely Reunion
"Your Highness?" I said confused to see Teon standing in the open corridor before me. I wondered where he had come from.
"W-what are you doing here?" He asked sounding equally as confused to see me as well. Which surprised me as shouldn't he know I was here? Hadn't the Emperor informed him of my presence?
We stared at each other for a moment. Before I decided to walk toward him. "His Majesty brought me here," I explained to him.
I came to stand in front of him, and he looked up at me as though still confused but he also seemed-- and I might be wrong but-- he seemed...relieved to see me. It took him a moment to snap out of his daze before he spoke up.
"Ha, that man, so he really meant it when he said I would get to see you as proof." He said to himself.
"Excuse me?" I politely asked, confused as to whom he was referring to and what he was talking about.
