50 A Successful Plan

RINA'S POV

I couldn't stop smiling to myself. My plan had been more than successful! At first, I was worried Teeka would mess it up and had braced myself in preparation. However, I was pleasantly surprised when everything had gone smoothly.

Just as we had planned, Teeka had found a way to sneak into the kitchens and poison Laika's food before dinner was served and also make sure Ayan was called to the kitchens around the same time. She did it by messing up with the chef's documents so they had to be revised. We needed Ayan in the kitchen to serve as proof that, that she was the one who had poisoned Laika.

Teeka had also placed the poison vials in Ayan's room afterward in a timely manner, without being caught. Whilst the General wasn't present which made carrying out our plans easier, there was still Kazir, the general's secretary, who was in charge we had to deal with.
