The General left my office after making a rather concerning request. He wanted Ayan to receive the death sentence. I was shocked by the whole ordeal. Ayan had almost killed Lady Laika and her child.

 I was definitely surprised since it was just the other day that Ayan had uncovered how Teon's governess had been treating him behind my back. I couldn't believe that after that she would then go on to sabotage someone else's pregnancy and find herself facing attempted murder charges.

Until recently, I didn't know what Ayan was like in terms of personality. All I could go off was what Zaryn often told me about her. And I wasn't entirely sure what to think, his feelings for her were of a tempestuous nature. One moment he was complaining about her to the point you thought he hated her and then the next he talked about how in love he was with her like she was the only woman he would ever love. Constant extreme highs and lows with him.
