1 The knight in the night

" children come fast , dinner is ready now ! . Come down children ". Mom called us , me and my sister .

But we were playing at that time I did not wanted to go but I had to . So I went down and saw there was no body in the kitchen room . I shook for a moment . I didnt know what was going on that day..Then I thought to look for my mom who called us for dinner . Mom was not present in the house itself . What was I supposed to do ? I ran to my sistersister's room and slammed the door and as I saw with my eyes my pupil opened wide because no one was there ! My sister was supposed to be in her room but she wasn't..I wondered why ...

In the room I looked for her , under the bed , behind the curtain , inside the bathroom, everywhere but unfortunately could not find her . I saw the time in the clock in her room it was showing 11 : 30 pm .

I got afraid why my sister and my mother were missing late this night . I was literally choking inside .

I would feel the sweat trickling down on my back . I feel the air around me is so cold and scary .

It is going to be midnight and I didnt found my parents yet .what could a 15 year old lad could do in such a situation ?

Then I got an idea to call them but then in my house there were no mobile phones to call , what could i do instead of crying that night . That's what I did then !.. I sat down where I was standing in my sister's room and folded my legs towards my chest and tears started to roll down my cheeks , I was afraid , I was helpless , I could not find them , I wasn't ready to miss them , I was confused , I frightened....

I cried and cried and cried till my tears ran out. Then I thought for a moment to search for them again ..

And i got up form my position and went down the stairs again and looked in the kitchen and bathroom , hall and every corner but I could not find them . I thought to search for them in the top floors and sprinted up the stairs and slammed the door of my room and saw a letter in an empty room .

I saw nothing but a letter in my room and I was really tensed especially for the emptiness of the room .

" how could anyone take away my things and how is it even possible ..I mean how ...Anyone pls tell

what is going on in here! I'm literally confused right now ....What is happening to me is this a dream

? but it feels real , is it happening in my imagination , no i would never imagine something like this ...!

what happened to me ? somebody tell me please! " I weeped .

Then I thought to take that letter right infront of me in the empty room . I didnt knew who would put a letter there after stealing everything from me ? is it the thief? am i supposed to read it ..?

keeping these thoughts in my mind I unfolded white paper from the ground .

My hands were sweating ..I needed a towel to dry my grip ...

It tells the knight will come in the night at 11 : 30 and lead you , destroy you , mould you , tempt you , take your life from you ! ...And there was a symbol of a eclipse at the corner of the letter .

Reading everything in the letter made my hands shake and I suddenly felt someone's presence in the house and I looked around me and checked if someone is watching me or following me . I was breathing heavily that my breath was echoing in the room ...

I heard some scattering sounds of things from my sister's room . I quickly left the letter to fall on the ground and for a moment I forgot whats written and ran to her room hoping that they returned ...

But when I went to her room the room's door was open already but I closed the door when I left the room, i mean everytime I do but what is this ?

I stepped in the room and saw no one and the scattering sounds stopped as I stepped in the room , it was darker and there was no electricity in the room , only in that room ...

Then I suddenly saw the clock in her room it was still 11 :30 , the last time I saw the clock it was the same and now and it was the time mentioned in the letter !.... how ? I changed its battery today morning .....

what am I going to do now !...how should I get out of this ?all tjese thoughts got me tensed and more frightened....

I can feel someone is right behind me , in that dark..... looking at me ...this time I feel like it is a little closer , the air around me is getting colder and colder , I could sense it . i could feel my blood passing through my whole body .I could hear my heartbeat with out any equipment . I could feel someone standing right behind me.....it was that knight ! from the letter .... it happened whats written ...

I could hear him , I could sense him ....

Now that I turned back.... I could see him!....

I was out of breathe , like a person who is stuck underwater and doesn't know how to swim...

my situation was excatly like that....I was terrified just by seeing him stand in the dark .

He was fully armed with swords , arrows . He was a tall , terrifying devil from the hell who had 2 horns on his head like a monster he was wearing a black cloth which covered his whole big body and his face was half red like fire with scars , stitches and his other side of face was black in colour so it was really dark ..Really really dark ...

He was holding a big sword with the blood dropping down at the end of the sword ....drop by drop the blood was dropping .. The time in the clock was 11: 30 ...still ...

The devil stood there without saying anything, just like that .....and i was busy in holding my emotions and my tears and screams back by standing like a statue ...then suddenly he smiled, said in a very unfamiliar voice , with a bold and deep tone of devilish voice " you know , I am that knight and you know you are that boy ! " and disappeared like the Phoenix .....

I didnt understood him ! but this time the air around me felt so relieving and refreshing , i suddenly felt like everything's going to be normal , the clock started to work and the light as in my sister's room came again and I can clearly hear my mother calling me , I can smell the food what she was cooking , I can see everything getting back to normal but one thing held me back from all these thoughts.....And that thing was telling me something happend ...it was the blood on the floor .....

the blood which was stuck at the end of the sword of the knight !.....

But there were two blood stains.....I know from where the first blood stain on the floor came , from the devil's sword and slowly l looked from where the second blood stain came from !....And the answer came as I saw it was flowing from where .... ... . It.....was.....my neck !

The knight cut my neck off ...The blood was flowing from my body ...I could see my full body covered in blood , I tried to call but I couldn't...i tried to scream but couldn't , I fell on the ground with a blood flow from my neck !.....

I was feeling ...The death ...

I said to myself " mom sorry for not coming to dinner !" ..

and my eyes were closing slowly....And everything infront of my eyes was vanishing away slowly ...

everything is getting dark , everything is fading away...I don't know if it is a dream but I would be happy if it was .....

I could hear my sister screaming and calling my mom but I couldn't open my eyes ....

I could hear and sense my mom taking me somewhere and shouting help!!!..
