1 RUN

I felt nothing but fear, the wind blew harshly shaking the trees as rain poured down on us. My mum dragged me as we ran pulling me with all her strength, the street was empty and the lights were put off. As I fell my mum helped me stand as she kept dragging me, I could see the fear in her , "there they are" groups of men shouted gaining on us, I heard a loud bang and suddenly my mum who had been dragging dropped to the floor,she had been shot.

Tears poured down my eyes as she lay on the floor bleeding, I held her hand begging her to get up. She couldn't die like this, I wasn't the end, she worked so hard to keep us safe,I thought all this to myself as I continued crying. She held my hands as she told me almost in a whisper that "I was special,I had to keep running until the right time when I would be strong enough to protect myself". l looked up at her and she held my hands tighter than ever, she brought out a locket and handed it to me promising to always be with. She smiled as her hand slipped off mine. She was dead, she had left me alone in this cruel world.

As I cried , I heard footsteps approaching it was them the men who had been chasing us . I looked up in anger letting out a rage and fury what I would only describe as the monster inside me, I wasn't conscious of my surroundings as I sucked out their souls leaving their empty vessels on the floor as I licked my mouth with pleasure. I fell on the ground as I passed out.
