Chapter 48

I walked down an empty street near the seaport, I stopped in front of a building where Raphael's odor emanated. I walked towards the building, it had a large entrance with a large gate, I assumed it was an abandoned warehouse, I walked to towards the door beside the gate, I believed it won’t be opened I was about to kick it down. 

But I had a change of mind and placed my hand on the door handle to try and opened the door, I pulled it down, it opened it was like he was expecting a visitor. 

Vampires could be smelled all over the place. I was gasping for air and couldn't wait to rip out there heart. I walked inside the warehouse, I was looking around, I heard someone clapping, and the door behind me got  closed.

"Well, well, well," Raphael yelled, as the other vampires emerged from their dens. I took a look around. They were all armed, but I don't think that would stop me from killing Raphael. 

"Look who's here!" he exclaimed. He was standing on a large platform, elevated above the ground and higher than the others. "I'm not sure how you manage to survive my bite, but I know you are going to die here this time around," he added. 

I clenched my teeth, ready to rip out their hearts. I let out a howl into the air, transforming into my new form. Raphael murmured, "A Lycan." I dashed to the vampires behind me removing their hearts. The purpose of attacking them first was to show them the beast they were about to face. While they lay lifeless and pale on the ground, I dropped their hearts one after the other, my two hands were strained with blood and their blood was dwindling.  

I snarled at them in an attempt to frighten them. I could sense their trepidation, I assumed what Daniel taught me worked, he said creating fear in your enemies is the beginning of your victory, I gradually drew closer to them. They groaned aloud and dashed towards me. I knew they were making a huge mistake for attacking me. 

I snarled and ran into them, I dipped my hand into three vampires one after the other, removing their hearts, they collapsed to the ground lifeless, I threw their hearts away.

I flew into the air, kicking two vampires, then landed on the ground, groaning loudly as I fought. It was time to put my nails to use, so I sliced them one by one and threw some away discarding there hearts, while I had to break some of them bones. 

After some minutes of fighting I assumed Raphael must have fled. I released the vampire I was holding after giving him a bite, I continued to fight the weakens he had left behind to fight. I lunched one into the air as if it were a javelin. I snatched one by the neck and flipped it around. I kicked his body away from me. 

They ceased to attack me. I assumed they had realized their error in attacking me after I had shown them what I was, they were all moving backwards.

But at this point, I don't think I'm going to let them go. I took a step forward, and they all took a step backwards also . They had me surrounded in a circle. I gave a devilish grin.
