Chapter 37

When I arrived at the house, with Lora to the party. It was extremely noisy and crowded in there. "See you later, I'm going to meet Stephen," she yelled loudly enough for me to hear, "Okay, don't do bad stuff," I yelled back, and she chuckled before walking away to meet Stephen.

I walked through the crowd, picking up on the vibes the music was sending out. When I arrived at the kitchen side, there were beer crates. I took a bottle to calm my nerves. I'm not sure why I haven't seen Elizabeth, Ellie, or Lydia.

And the guys as well. I took a look around. Ellie caught my attention. She was making her way down the stairs. I put down my beer and walked up the stairs to her.

"Hey, Adam," she said softly. "Hey, have you seen the rest?" I asked, smiling. "No way," he said. "I've been upstairs, on the balcony," she replied, "would you like to go back?" I inquired.

"Sure," she said, and we walked back up to the balcony. On the balcony, there were only a few people. We were standing near the railings. The balcony overlooked the swimming pool.

"I suppose it's cool here," I said. "Yeah, what did you want to tell me about Ms. Lisa?" she inquired. "She's dead," I said, looking around to see if anyone was listening. "What in the world did you just say?" she exclaimed.

"She's a witch," I said, covering her mouth, "so keep your voice down." Lydia brought her back to life." "Lydia!" "Is she a witch?" she exclaimed. "Yeah, she's a witch," I replied.

"See you later, want to go meet Elizabeth?" I asked. "Okay," she replied, and I walked out of the balcony and downstairs, to the swimming pool side, where the party had grown more crowded since my arrival.

When I got outside, the pool was nearly full. Everyone else seemed to be having a good time out here, and I wished I could join them for a swim. I approached Elizabeth, who was sitting with Bella and a few other sexy girls.

Elizabeth noticed me approaching and had to excuse herself so she could run to me. She jumped at me and hugged me tightly. "What have you been doing?" she inquired. "Are you enjoying the party upstairs?" I yelled so she could hear me.

"Let's go outside; this place is disgusting," she suggested. "Yeah, I guess we should go outside as well," I said. We were listening to music when we heard a loud noise from inside the house. "I'll be right there, wait for me outside, and let me get Lora," I said.

I dashed inside to save Lora and Lydia. Everyone was pouring out of the house, rushing to their various residences. I dashed back to where I had gathered my belongings. I noticed a body on the floor. It was a wolf, of course. I was able to smell him. I was curious as to who had injected him with wolf bane. The house, which had been packed just moments before, was almost empty. I looked around to see if the perpetrator was still present.

My phone began to ring in my pocket. I reached for it and answered the phone. "Hello, may I ask who this is?" I inquired. "You are next, or it could be Ellie, keep an eye on your back," the unknown person said before hanging up the phone. I'm curious who could be doing this. I'm not sure who it could be; could it be Josh, I wondered, but I'm not sure yet; I need to figure out who is disrespecting me.
