Chapter 137

"I thought you were always a hard guy, but why are you crying so much more than me and Mummy cried?" Lora asked.

"Like for real, are you trying to use me to crack a dry joke?" I asked.

Lora started laughing uncontrollably, which my mummy also joined.

"But mum, I wasn’t expecting you to join her," I said softly.

"Sorry that I’m laughing, but it was too funny for me not to laugh," she said.

"It was funny?" I asked.

"Yes it was funny," she replied.

"That she couldn’t even resist herself from laughing," Lora said.

"Okay, it is enough, enough, mum, continue what you were saying," I said.

We all forgot that we had just cried a while ago. It was really nice to see us laugh again before she was going to continue with what she was telling us.

"One of my babies died while one stayed alive. It was sad to hear that, but my husband stood by me in the other room. She was able to deliver the two babies, but she wasn’t able to make it, because she had lost a lot of blood while she was delivering the babies, but my husband kept it away from me till I was back home, because he knew how devastated it would have been for me if he had told me right away," she said while she tried to catch her breath.

I have a lot I’m going to tell the two of you. If I don’t try to cut the long storey short, I wonder if we are going to stand up from here till tomorrow. I was later discharged from the hospital. When I got home, I found out she had died. I was very angry with my husband and her husband for keeping such things from me with the seek of protecting me. Even after they knew her precious she’s to me, I took her twins from her husband and took care of the three babies together. They were really cute together.

When they saw how her death had affected me, it was like I wasn’t going to survive it to the next morning. They both sat me down on that night. I was wondering what it was that they wanted to tell me. Allison's husband was the one who was the first to talk, "she said."

"Allison!" I exclaimed.

"I thought that was Adam's mummy. How come both of us moms bared the same name?" Lora said.

"I’m also surprised, just like you are surprised," I said.

Actually, the thing is that both of you don’t share different mothers; you both have the same mother," she revealed.

I was really shocked with what she just said. I can’t believe it. Me and Lora have been twins all this while and she has never told me anything or Lora anything about it. The same way I was shocked, I guess Lora was also shocked about what she said.

"Sorry I had kept the two of you in darkness," she said.

She was about to start crying again. It seemed to me and Lora that we wanted to hear more from her. She still had a lot to tell us.
