A HUMAN IN THE ROGUE COMMUNITY

MAYA

I can't believe I just gave myself away to Alpha Frederick, how he must hate me now knowing am a bringer of doom.

"Maya, why didn't you tell me you are from Blood Rose pack?"

Frederick felt so bad for Maya, he can't believe how she must be feeling now, knowing how her pack was invaded and having to watch her loved one's die before her eyes.

"Don't you hate me for being a female Alpha who was going to ruin the world?".

"I'm not a member of your pack, neither do I believe in prophecy. Now the question is do you want to get your pack back or are you going to let the traitors take over your position and your people?"

"I have no home anymore, everyone in my pack hates me. They watched my mom die and killed me as well, why should I go back to such pack."

Frederick was getting very pissed at Maya. He never saw her to be a coward, but this girl in front of him is a coward.

"Maya, you are a coward. If you want to avoid fighting for your pack what about your parents, don't you want to revenge for them?, do you want to let them get away with your parent's murder?

Maya cried after hearing Frederick call her a coward. Yes, she was a coward, but she does not have powers to fight them. She knew Lana's followers were strong, and Frederick might lose most of his men if he tried to fight for her.

She saw the weapons those war wolves carried, and it was nothing like the weapons Frederick's warriors used.

Furthermore, she can't let anyone die for her, anymore. She would rather be a coward until when she's strong enough to reclaim her pack.

That was her mother's last wish, and she would surely fulfill her parent's wish.

Maya thought about how her mother died protecting her, and suddenly, she began trembling, she screamed again and lost herself into the abyss.

FREDERICK

I was shocked to see that Maya had started her episodes again, when she screams, everything in the room charters into pieces. Maya's eyes became blood shot, her hair became white.

"Maya calm down please, we can talk about this in peace."

As soon as I tried approaching her she ran towards me, her claws came out sharp and dug into my flesh.

I tried to struggle out of her grip, but she was too strong for me.

"Vina and Meredith ran inside the room when they heard the screams coming from Maya's room. They knew something was wrong, and she was getting out of control again.

"Vina do something, I can't stop her now!".

Vina started casting her spells on her again and suddenly the moon goddess appeared again.

Suddenly, I saw the moon goddess in my vision, touched me like she was giving me powers a that very moment, I recovered the strength hit Maya on the back which made her pass out immediately

"You must protect her Frederick, you need the other guardian together with her before her coming of age."

Something you can't control is coming, you need her to fight for her, she is your only hope!".

The moon goddess disappeared from his memories after saying those words.

Maya slept for a week again.

Vina called Frederick to inform him of him being one of Maya's protectors.

Frederick now understood why his wolf wanted to save her the day he saw her in the woods.

Meanwhile, Maya found herself in an abandoned forest, just like the last time. Suddenly, the Lady in a white dress appeared again.

"You should control your anger child, do not you worry you will be healed, and your wolf will come on your come of age".

"Will I really have a wolf?, I asked with hope.

"Yes you will my child, you are my direct offspring, no one can harm you when am with you, but Maya you have to listen, the day of your coming of age, the enemies will be alerted."

"When your wolf awakens they will come for you, some will be ready to serve you while others will try to harm you."

"You need your protectors Maya, they will keep you safe until you are successfully transformed to your wolf."

Maya was more confused as to why her wolf will need protection.

She wanted to know more about what the goddess said, only to find herself sent back to the real world.

She opened her eyes to find herself in her room.

There was no one on the room, but she could smell the pungent smell of herbs. "How long did I pass out this time?".

MICHAEL

Michael continued his fight with the werewolf rogues that continued invading their community.

Michael has made all plans to journey to the territory of the rogues. His plan was to seek for his father's killers peacefully, he needs to know who killed his Dad, so he could fight them off.

Late at night he surveyed his area, making sure everywhere was quiet and no one saw him.

He carried his backpack filled with weapons as the left into the woods.

He journeyed for a long time, searching for the rogue community he heard was closer to his human village.

Michael planned on never making it out alive when he goes to the rogues because he knew they will never let him live.

He had already made up his mind to die if the need be.

Michael for about two days still he couldn't find the location of the rogues dwelling, he was confused because he thought maybe he was going the wrong direction, but he was sure it wasn't a wrong direction because although they never ventured into the rogue's territory they fully well know about where they lived and how they lived.

He decided to rest under a tree when he heard a rustling sound, when he opened his eyes he was met with some ferocious looking beasts. Michael quickly stood up on high alert.

One of the wolves shifted to his human form naked, but he doesn't seem the least ashamed.

"You've got some guts coming into the rogue's territory, human".

Michael wasn't the least scared because he was not going to leave until he finds his father's killers.

"Do you know who killed Evans White? You are supposed to know him, that is if your Father's told you about him"

"Who know such person Human, who is he and what do you want?".

Michael did not see them as leaders but some followers to the leader.

" Who is your leader?, take me to him, maybe he would know and explain better to me".

The wolves growled at Michael for what he said.

Michael knew these wolves are very protective of their leader.

"This human got some guts coming here, I say we kill him right here and now"

The other wolves growled in response to what one of them said.

They were about attacking Michael, who was also ready to take on anyone of them that attacked him.

"We won't attack him yet, I say we take him to Alpha Frederick, am sure he might find just whom he was looking for, am also very curious to know who this Evans white was."

They led Michael deep into the woods to the rogue community, but they made sure to knock him out for fear of him discovering their hideout since they don't know who he really was.

Hours later they arrived at their community with Michael on Cedric's shoulder.

Everyone wondered what a human was doing in their community.

Some murmured of how daring Michael was to even venture out of his human territory.

"Alpha Frederick, we found this human around our area, he seems to be searching for someone named Evans white. We brought him here, maybe you might know who the man is and why this human wants him."

The name did not sound familiar to Frederick in any way as he tried to think about how the human got here and how important this Evan white was to him that made him risk his life into the wolf's territory.

An hour later, Michael woke up to find himself tied up in an empty room, he looked at the area. He must be in the rogue's territory, he thought.

Frederick came into the room to see Michael already awake.

Frederick felt something strange around Michael like he was someone tender and close, but Frederick knew Michael was human, so why did he feel this way around him?

This was unlike him, if it was his old self he would have ordered for Michael death or tortured him until he confessed.

"The nerve you have to invade my territory, human, who are you looking for?".

"I'm looking for the killers of my father, Evans white ".

"We don't know of such a person human." What time did he die'?, maybe I might have an idea about who killed him."

That struck a cord on Michael, his father died when he was very little, and Everyone he saw here was as young as him, the older ones seemed to be more of children.

They will never know about his father's death, he thought.

Maya felt somewhat disturbed she felt pains surging through her body, she felt restless, what could be wrong, her eyes began to change to the color of red as she screamed.

Frederick heard Maya's screams as he ran out leaving only Michael.

Michael took this as an opportunity to escape, there was no way this people knew about his father's death, he just came over here for nothing.
