The final wave of information.

The confused Isaac didn't get enough time to digest the situation before another wave of knowledge invaded, making him pass out. This time, it was about the techniques imparted by Ryan and information.

After he woke up once more, it was nighttime. Moonlight entered the room by a window beside the bed, and a single lamp on the nightstand lit the interior. Isaac groggily stood up and stretched his muscles, missing the usual popping sounds from his old joints.

-Huh. It's been a while since i felt like this.- Isaac thought before adopting a boxing defensive position. He quickly jabbed to the front and "evaded" to the sides. With a final uppercut, he sat on the ground, grinning.

-At least i have to give that bastard some credit. I missed the movements that my old bones couldn't do.- He quietly laughed and thought about the new information that entered his head.

First of all, Ryan emphasized his need to gain strength at a steady level, with a firm foundation, and enough time to have a safe 'breakthrough.' Then, he mentioned what it means to cultivate.

[Cultivators gain insight into the rules that form the universe, that comes with power and knowledge of the laws of the world. It is a dangerous path that not many people see to the end.]

-And why would i want that.- Isaac frowned and laid on the ground, staring at the wooden roof above.

[If you choose to ignore this, you will die. Horribly.]

-Again with threats.- he rolled his eyes and sighed internally.

[I'll mention the first seven levels of cultivation of the mortal plane, knowing all of them would do you no good!

The first of them is the mortal realm: prepare the vessel for the new energy. If you don't do it appropriately, then you won't be able to hold anything. This one is easy: enough exercise is enough for a strong foundation.

After finishing that, you start with energy condensation: the first gathering of spiritual energy on the body. It's enough for a kid to beat down a grown adult in a fight. But don't get cocky, you can still get beat up by enough mortals.

Foundation establishment is second: after condensing enough spiritual energy, you begin to piece together the frame of your astral gate. The bigger it is, the better.

Then, there is the actual Astral gate: It's your first contact with star energy. It's a purer form of Spiritual energy. Very valuable and hard to obtain at your level. You will use it for your next breakthrough, so use it carefully.

With enough Star energy, you enter Star formation: This is where you begin to form your first star and take a glimpse of the laws of the universe. Again, the star's size is critical. You want it to be as big as you possibly can.

When it's fully formed, you can begin with Star engraving: pretty self-explanatory, a star engraved with laws is more powerful than one without them.

And finally, Constellation: at this point, you have Star energy to spare, so use it to condense as many stars as you can and form a big and pretty constellation. The shape doesn't matter unless you plan to ascend to higher realms, but this is a good point for you to stop.

I recommend you achieve the Constellation realm before settling down permanently. You'll have a lifespan of at least half a million years and enough power to defend yourself properly on the lower realms. The techniques that you received are enough to reach this even if your talent is 0.

There's a lot of things I'm letting out, like spirit stones or tribulations, but you'll know soon enough when you join a sect.

Good luck! You'll need it.]

-Why would i join a cult? I have better things to do, satanic bastard.- He clicked his tongue and sat once more.

Second, it was the child's memories. It painted a picture a lot clearer than Ryan could about where he was in the world: Pritwood city. And put the sect thing that Ryan mentioned in a better light. With a long sigh, he accepted these new memories and his new life ahead.

-They may not be my real family, but I'm not going to be a bastard. At least for the little boy. I'm sorry, another Isaac.- He made a small bow, feeling bad about occupying the body of a happy kid.

"Dad? Are you there?" Now, he knew the power that his old man, Dixon Leigh, possessed. Threading carefully was the only way of going ahead.

"Are you awake, Isaac? Can i come inside?" The voice of the stern man came from behind the door. Isaac knew that the man probably used the so-called 'spiritual sense' to 'see' everything inside, but the old man was happy that he had manners.

"Yes, please enter..." He said with a long sigh, still debating with himself if this was a good idea.

Dixon's imposing body entered through the door. His expression was still stern, but there was worry in his eyes. He sat beside Isaac on the floor and patted his head.

"Are you feeling better?" Dixon asked, looking at him with that worried gaze. That only put more weight on Isaac's heart. "Do you...remember me?"

"Yes, dad... I remember everything" Even if they were not his family, the warmth of home was a feeling that he missed for some time already. "I think i do... i don't know." Dixon smiled after hearing that and ruffled his head.

"You have to rest these days, be a good boy, and remain in the mansion. No more playing outside, no more naps, and no more exploring the forest" His words sounded like he was reprimanding him, but Isaac knew he was just scared.

Without a second thought, he hugged Dixon. Mostly to calm down the poor man and as a "sorry" for being the apparent cause of little Isaac's death. Dixon was surprised at first, but he warmly returned the hug. After some time, Dixon left the room.

-Well, sorry, little Isaac. But i have to live your life for now. If it helps, I'm not going to mistreat your parents.- After that silent prayer, he nodded and went through the techniques left behind by the karmic bastard.

First, he tried the 'Path of the spirit guardian.' It required him to think about the animals described in the technique and channel their energy: Infernal Bear, Earth Dragon turtle, Dancing Adarna, and the Swift Kun Peng.

-What the hell is an infernal bear or a Kun Peng? What is this gibberish?- He couldn't make heads or tails about what he was supposed to channel. -I'll think of other animals, like a boar or a bull! Much easier, yes.-

After taking care of the nonsense in the manual, he began to meditate again. After a couple of seconds, he entered a trance. Warm energy would enter his nostrils and travel to his stomach. Then, it would go to his palms, feet, and forehead. Finally, it would return to his stomach, and the cycle would repeat itself.

He remained motionless for an indefinite amount of time, slowly enjoying the sweet sensation he got while meditating. But a knocking sound interrupted him.

"Young master? Are you awake?" Wilson's voice, and old family servant, came from behind it. It disrupted the energy flow, and everything dispersed once more.

"Yes, Wilson. You can enter" He was a bit angry that he couldn't continue feeling that stream of energy.

"Yes, young master." The pale old man entered. He was wearing a white and red robe and was sweating profusely, while he had a nervous expression on his face.

"What hap-"

"I'M SORRY YOUNG MASTER! YOUR SERVANT FAILED YOU!" Wilson kneeled on the ground and knocked his forehead against the floor.

"Wait-"

"YOUR SERVANT WOULD DIE IF YOU WISH SO, MASTER!"

"SHUT UP, WILSON!" Finally, Isaac snapped. Wilson stopped screaming after hearing Isaac but remained in that position. "This is not necessary."

"But-"

"Not. Necessary." He emphasized his words and crossed his arms. "Stand up, please. Wash your face, and continue your duties."

"...Yes, young master." The man stood up and deeply bowed towards Isaac. Then, he left. Isaac deeply sighed after the whole ordeal and stood from the ground.

-Well, I can't be sitting still if my body feels ok.- Isaac quickly jabbed to the air once more. -I better start with the mortal realm or whatever it's called. I will get my farm eventually and live a peaceful life. That's the objective, never changed, never will.-

With a resolute glint on his eyes, the new Isaac began to train.

I had problems with my net (and i use grammarly for writing, so it's a huge deal), so the chapter that I ended up posting yesterday had a very important scene missing! I recommend reading it once more and check it to understand this one a little better!

Anyway, I hope you're in for the ride! It's gonna be wild!

- Have a great day~
