This Is For Your Own Good

Hayden caught a glimpse of the girls who just coming out from the bathhouse. He wants to go to them and when he saw Yuina's worried face, he scrunches a bit and follows them from behind.

"Princess?" He calls her once they enter the library.

The three of them jolted their body a bit. Turning around, Yuina tries to smile at him. "Hay...Hayden..what are you doing here?"

"I saw you girls coming out from the bathhouse looking so nervous and a bit pale. So I decide to follow you girls.. but, what are you doing here, princess?" He asks straightforwardly.

"Uh…we..we..just..uh.." Kyra already stuttering. She is a person who always holds a good grip with her emotion, but tonight she seems like she was terrified.

Hayden looks at the three of them and suddenly he just noticed. One of them is missing. "Where is Ning Zhi?"

By just to hear the question, the three of them turn even paler than before. It makes Hayden understand the situation.

"She's missing? Or…she's…dead?" He carefully asks the question.

"Uhm...Hayden.." Yuina grabs his hand and brings him a bit far from those two girls.

"Listen..well, actually..we also did not know how these things happen..when we were in the bath, she was fine but then, when we pull her into the water and she suddenly vanishes. That is why...we try to figure it out this weird phenomenon." Yuina explains it to him.

Hayden focuses on her details and after she's done talking, he touches her cheek and makes her look up at him. "Did you get hurt?"

Squinting her eyes, she shakes her head. "No..I'm not.." She feels the question that Hayden ask her is way too far from what she just tell him. Rather than shocked, he looks like he was worried if anything happens to her. What a weird man.

"Good then." He smiles contently and said again. "I'll help you guys on finding the explanation."

Both of them then walk back to the two of the girl. "Oh, I shall tell the others too. You girls start first, I'll bring the other guys."

"Uh…Hayden!" Rachael stops him from taking another step.

"Yeah?"

"Is that okay if they know? I mean..we cause the trouble. We're too careless.."

"What are you talking about? We are one group and friends too. What is there's a friend for if we not helping each other? Don't blame yourself. It's not your fault."

"But…"

"Don't worry. Men are simple. They do what they feel right." He smiles at her and closed the door, leaving them inside the library.

Pats on Rachael's shoulder, Yuina try to console her. "It's okay. Trust him."

"Hmm." Rachael nods her head slowly.

2019.

In another world.

"Huarrghhh!" Zhing Li yawn beside Ning Zhi inside the classroom.

"What did you do to make you yawn like a guy?" She glances at her friend.

"Hmm...I got involve in a game. They release a new stage and it kept me awake until dawn. Huarghh.." She finally lands her head on the table snuggle into her arm.

"There's so much thing you can do..why you always stuck up with your game?"

"Tch! Said someone who rather spends the whole day reading a book without doing nothing. I can say something like that to you too, you know?" She nudges Ning Zhi a little.

"Yeah, whatever." She rolled her eye and focus back at the whiteboard. That is when her eyes caught with the lecturer. His glare like a dagger to her. She gulps a bit. 'Damn you Zhing Li.' She curses inwardly. Because of her friend, she got the deadly glaring from her lecturer.

After two hours, finally, her morning class is over.

"Okay class, hand over your assignment before you leave." Zi Yan said while looking at his students.

Ning Zhi put her notebook inside her bag and take out her hard copy of assignment before she nudges Zhing Li beside her.

"Zhing Li! Wake up."

"Hnngrhh.."

"Zhing Li.." She still nudges her arm.

Without her noticing, Zi Yan already walks to their table and he raises his rolled paper and smacks it on the table, really hard.

Pap!!

Half of the student turn around to look at their seat.

"Ack!" Both of them jolt in surprise and the smacking sound almost makes Ning Zhi's heart fell from its string.

Looking at her lecturer, Zhing Li immediately lowered her head. Feeling a bit shy.

"Zhing Li, if you dare to sleep in my class again, I will deduct your credit and you have to repeat another year in my class. You want to fail? Go ahead and sleep in my class while I'm teaching." He said with firmly making Zhing Li turn from red to white like a paper sheet.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Zi Yan. I will take noted and do not repeat it again." She didn't dare to look at his eyes right now. He always calm and very gentle, but she did not know why he suddenly turns fierce today.

"And you, Ms. Ning Zhi. Did you already return the book you took?" He turns to look at Ning Zhi who is clearly still shocked.

"Huh? Uh.." She's at lost for a bit. Trying to collect her memory back.

"The book from the restriction section in the library. Have you return it back?" He jerking out to her making she remember the event of yesterday in this world.

"Oh…uh...I will return it after I finish my class, sir." She scrunches her eyebrow a bit. 'Why he so fussy?'

"Then, hand over your assignment before you go." He looks at both of them before he walks down back to the lecture stand.

Without any delay, both of them put the assignment on the wooden lecture stand and walk out of the class.

"What's wrong with him? Why did he look so mad today?" Zhing Li pout and complaining.

"If you not sleeping in his class, I guess he would not be like that. I warned you before, now, serve you right."

"Tch! He so attractive, even though his fierce-looking face may not suit him, he still handsome. Oh~ Mr. Zi Yan."

Ning Zhi could only shake her head.

In the evening, after class, she went to the library. Sneaking into the restriction area. She took out the book from her bag and ready to return it back.

"Ah...I still did not finish reading it yet. But, if that Mr. Zi Yan knows I still not returning this book, surely he will make a report to the management." She sighing.

"Well, …lets put you here first. After I have done with my exam, I will return back here and finish it. Such a good story after all." She touches the back of the book before she left the room.

From the other book rack, Zi Yan watches at the girl who just walks out from the restriction area with a small smile on his face.

'This is for your own good.'

"Hey..sorry. Did you wait long?" Zhing Li smiles at Ning Zhi who is waiting for her in front of the restaurant.

"Not really, I just arrive." She said while fixing her fringe a bit.

"Great. Let's go in. They already waiting inside." Zhing Li grabs Ning Zhi's arm and went inside of the restaurant.

Tonight, they have a mixer from other multiversities student. Since both of them are still single, Zhing Li decides to drag Ning Zhi with her too.
