The One We're Looking For

Ding ling ling!

"Welcome." A middle-aged woman greets the three of them with a smile before Zane follow behind the group.

"How can I help you, gentlemen?" The woman said.

"Erm..what do you have specialized in house, today?" Hayden asks and looking around the shop.

It just a normal restaurant where he can see a few customers sitting at the table and enjoying their meal with a laugh and cheerful expression.

"Have a seat first." She leads the four of them to the table a bit far from the counter table and kitchen and after they all sit, she said politely.

"We have some traditional dish. You're not from this area, aren't you?" She smiles again.

Farrell and Zane nod while exchanging the smile to the lady while Hayden still composed observing around them.

"If that the case, we have our special drink and dish for today. Would you gentleman want to try it out?"

"Yes, please," Hayden said and after the lady bows her head, she went back to the kitchen.

"Get anything yet?" Zane asks in a low voice.

"Everything's normal." Farrell reply.

"Don't let your guard down. We don't know where they put it." Hayden reminds them and the commander also nods his head, agree with Hayden.

Fifteen minutes later, the lady from before bringing the tray with a delicious dish to serve on their table.

"Enjoy your meals." She smiles after putting the teapot and small cup before she brings the empty tray back to the kitchen.

The four of them gulp a bit looking at the dish. Yup, the four of them are hungry since they did not take their breakfast before they go out to the city.

"Em…I can't smell anything weird from the dish and the drink." Zane said. He was ready to eat the dish.

Hayden notice from his corner of eyes that the lady still looking at them like waiting for them to gobble their meals.

"Hmm, she's looking at us. Pour the tea first." Hayden said and the commander slowly does the pouring to the small cup to each of them.

"Now, what we do?" Farrell asks.

"Em..fake it. Like we drink the tea." Hayden said.

The four of them took the cup and bring to their mouth. Ready to fake it.

Hayden gives the signal through his eyes to fake the drink in the count of three.

'Two'

Bam!!

"Heuk!"

Gulp!

The table where the four of them sitting are now in mess with a man laying unconsciously on the table and the three of them except the commander have been hit by the flying man before.

The sound from inside the restaurant turns into chaos with people screaming and yelling.

"Shit!" Zane immediately stands up while brushing his back of his head which has been hit.

Hayden's face turned grim with the thought that he already swallow the tea because of the man who suddenly hit his back. Not only him but Farrell and Zane also almost choke with the tea. The three of them has consumed the tea accidentally.

Farrell's face turns pale and his vision starts to blurry a bit. The effect of the drug is faster than he thought. On top of that, he's the weakest among them in term of the physical build.

Hayden tries to stand up after Zane, he's staggering a bit, but still, keep his calm. He looks at the person who threw the man to their table. From afar he saw a man with a snake tattoo on his neck. He wears a black robe look like Tsumugi. He had long black hair which is tied in a ponytail.

He chokes a man and fiercely looks at the man with killing intent in his eyes. Hayden wants to pull out his sword but his body feels a bit heavy. He looks at Zane who also tries to raise his hand. Want to use his abilities, but Hayden prohibit him to do so.

"Don't. They'll see us like a monster. We need to keep our identity closed." Hayden tries to speak even though it hurt his throat.

His body now feels like a fire burning inside. Every vein in his body feels so hot and his mind can't focus at all.

Zane slowly lost his consciousness. While Farrell already passes out before him.

Thud!

Zane falls on his knees. 'Skylark..'

Bam! He laying on the floor unconsciously.

"Mister Zane! Mister Farrell!" The commander went to both of them. Trying to check their pulse.

"Mister Black!" He said when Hayden also falls unconsciously on the floor.

Five minutes earlier.

"Is it the place?" Akashi looks at the woman beside him. She did not wear any dress like this townpeople. Her clothes look sexier and once glance, people know she was not from this province. A total foreigner.

"That's what they told me." She looks at her nails, looking nonchalant.

"Hmph..let's go inside." He walks into the restaurant.

"Welcome." The lady greets the guest before she looks up at the man in front of her.

Once she looks at him, she starts trembling in fear. "L…L...Lord-"

"Who's selling the drug?" He cut her word and look at the woman with disgust.

"Uh..no..w..we..don't.." Her face turns pale and she could feel the sweat rolling down from her forehead.

A man who was sitting at the table near the counter stand up in a panic and intending to go out of the restaurant.

Before he could run, a slender hand grab his collar and she halts his pace.

"Going somewhere?" She smiles at the man. Even though her smile look sweet but the aura behind it make him shivering a bit.

"Aa..I.."

"Is it perhaps you that we're looking for? Hm?" She pulls the collar that makes his face a bit close to hers.

"I..I.." He still stuttering while a few men at the table froze in fear. Including the lady at the counter.

Freya, the girl who comes with Akashi draw her face near to that man's neck. Sniffing a bit before she turns to Akashi.

"Just a stupid little mouse." She informs Akashi and turns back to the man.

"Who's your boss?"

"I..Don't know." He gulps a bit when he saw that her eyes turn grim.

"You don't know?" She asks again with a deep voice.

"Very well, don't blame me then." She tightens her grip on the collar and throws him flying to the table where four other customers sitting.

She didn't expect that there is another customer who sitting at the side of the shop when she throws that man.

Bam!!

"Ahhh!" The lady shout and one man from the kitchen come out with a cleaver in his hand.

"Mother." He said and look at the person who stands in front of the counter with a fierce look.

"Y...You.." He wants to run but immediately Akashi chokes him and bangs his head him on the wall.

"I guess you're the one we're looking for, right?" He grinning evilly to him.
