A Dragon Named Red Demon

Yuina tells Kaji what had happened to them all these past days and what their reason to find him. Even though she is not too sure about their aim's yet. But at least, that is what Hayden has been told her. She needs to find whether the tales of the kingdom is true or not. And what can they do to make the princess get her justice and get her father's death justice?

After hearing what had happened, Kaji turns silent for a quite long time before he turns to look at Hayden who is still unconscious. It is hard for him to give them his opinion, all of it is a risk that they had to go through. Furthermore, he knows precisely what Hayden is actually. It'll be hard to make a decision without Hayden consent.

"I think, it's better if we discuss this matter when Hayden already awake." He smiles to Yuina before he excuses himself to went back to his study room.

Yuina nods her head. She also thinks it's better if they waited for Hayden to wake up. In the meanwhile, Kyra helps Yuina to change her attire to new clothes. It is not a dress like before, it's more like pants with a design like a dress. Suitable to do chores and easy to walk.

Yuina did not complain at all. If it is her from before she would definitely throw a tantrum to wear something which is not attractive at all. However, it's different now. She had to accepts it all in order to survive.

"Since you would need to go and travel again, how about if you learn how to do basic chores? Like sewing or wash your clothes? Or cook, so at least you both won't die because of malnutrition." Kyra said. She drops the honorific since Yuina insists her to just call her by her name.

"Erm...Thank you, Kyra." She replies with a smile on her pretty face. Even though she did not use any of the accessories and wasn't able to properly groom up, she still pretty with her natural beauty face that could make any man fall for her.

"Okay. Come on, I show you my veggie farm behind this house. " She brings Yuina to the back of the house. Teaching her on how to know what can and what can not eat.

Hayden is finally able to open up his eyes slowly. His body feels a bit numb and he feels sore all over his body.

"Hayden??" Yuina who just return from the farm behind the house shout happily when she saw Hayden try to sit up.

She runs to him and put the basket of potato at the side before she hugs his body tightly. Her corner of eyes was almost teary because of happiness.

"Thank god you're awake." She mutters with a low voice.

Hayden pat on her back before he looks at her. She was so dirty with the soil on her attire and she had a dirt stick on her face. "What happened to you? Where are we?" He tries to wipe the dirt off from her face.

"Don't worry." She holding Hayden's hand on her cheek with a smile. "We're safe."

Hayden scrunches his eyebrow a bit and he somehow notices that she did not wear her bracelet. He knows it was from Prince Hans, he saw a symbol who is only Prince Hans use it on the bracelet. He also notices that she always caress her bracelet when she was spacing out like it was her charm.

He stares her clear eyes. "Did you hurt?" Hayden starts to check on her arm and face.

Chuckles a bit, she said, "I'm fine Hayden."

Hayden sigh of relief. "Thank god."

"Oh, Hayden..guess what?" She raises her brow a bit.

"What?"

"We're in Mister Kaji's house. His little sister is the one who saved us that day. I already inform him about our purpose and he said it's better if we waited for you to wake up." She explains to him with excite.

Hayden blinks his eyes a few time. "Oh wow, we really lucky, aren't we?"

Yuina nodded to agree with him. "Mhm..that's right. Oh! I almost forgot. I need to bring this potato to wash up and give it to Kyra. You should rest, I'll come back in a minute." She picks the basket beside her and went to the kitchen.

"Kyra? Why did she'd ask the princess to do all of this?" Hayden tilts his head a little. He then looks around him to find his sword and his backpack. Lucky it's all in good condition.

He took his sword and went to the kitchen. Draw his sword, he put it on Kyra's neck without Yuina can act.

"Do you know who is she?" Hayden asks with a cold voice.

"Hayden! No!" Yuina tries to calm him.

Turning around, she looks at him without any sign of afraid. "Yeah, I know. So?"

"Hayden.." Yuina holds his arm trying to lower it. "I am the one who wants to learn all of this. After all, she already help us."

Looking at Yuina's determination eyes, he finally lowered his sword and put it back in its case.

"I'm sorry. Thank you for saving us. However, I must remind you that she is this kingdom's princess. She is not like other woman.."

"I know. And Lord Hayden. Rest assured, I'm not bullying your lover here." Kyra interjects him and looks straight in his eyes.

Knowing that Kyra did not mean any harm, he then just bobbed his head. "I need to see Mister Kaji. Is he here?" Hayden back to their real intention for coming to find him.

"He's in the cabin outside of this house. " Kyra turn her body back and continue to cook.

"Thanks." Hayden went outside of the house and look for the cabin that Kyra mention earlier. Once he spots the cabin, he strode there and knock on the door.

"Mister Kaji? I need to talk to you." Hayden standing still outside the door. Even though his body is still full of bandaging, he still manages to keep his pain under control.

Not having any answer, he knocks again. "Mister Kaji?" This time, his voice is a bit loud than before.

Still as before. He then slowly open the door a bit making it let out a creaking sound. "Mister Kaji?"

A sound of something like steel fall makes Hayden immediately draw out his sword and ready to stab at the person.

"Uh...Sorry! I was…" Kaji looks scared when his head almost being jabbed by the tall and scary man behind him.

Hayden eases a bit and draw back his sword. "Mister Kaji I knock on your door a few times before."

"Yes, I heard. But I was in the middle of.." He stands up and brushes his shirt from the dirt. He went to the steel basin and took out a small animal under the steel basin. "Catching this bastard mouse."

Hayden scrunches his eyebrow a bit. He then looks at Kaji who keep the mouse inside a big and long ceramic pail and close the lid with the heavy steel.

"You know, in the north of this province, there is a place where you can sell this animal. They usually eat it because they don't have enough food supply." Kaji went back to his study desk.

Hayden just keeps maintaining his face calm and listen to the new info. He then follows Kaji to his desk. He could see there's a pile of book and this room is so messy. No wonder a mouse like that could happily live in this room.

"So, General Hayden. Princess Yuina already told me what happen to you and her. And your purpose to come and find me too. And I actually have been looking to that since that day." He continues again and took out a book from his desk and show it to Hayden.

"Here. This is this kingdom tales. It is a genuine one." He points his finger on the page for Hayden to look at it himself.

It is a story about a dragon named Red Demon. He is a leader among the dragon in the Celestial world. He went to earth and take a form as a human, along with other four dragons which take a role as a knight to their leader. He builds a new country from a scratch where he bound all of the four tribes to be under one kingdom. His kingdom.

However, as he rules the kingdom, he then falls in love with a human girl. To make the girl as his wife, he went back to the Celestial world and ask to reform him as a true human forever. The deals are, he can't have an immortal life that he had before. All of his power will be taken away. His body is not an armor-like before. He can bleed and die as a human. All of his ability is powerless and can only be used again once he's reincarnate.

The Celestial god also tells him that once he was reincarnated, his kingdom will fall apart and they will face four other power who will try to tear his kingdom down. Only a true heir of Red Demon and his reincarnation could stop this war and bring back the peace. Because he was deeply in love with the girl, he accepts all of it.

Because the dragon is a loyal creation, all of the four knights also make a promise to Red Demon. They make a swore that they will protect Red Demon until he reincarnates again. Few years after that, he died and all of the four dragons change its form into a stone. Four different stone and each of them had their own chosen guardian who can use their power and abilities without them to reform as a human or dragon. The legend says they guarded at four sides of this kingdom. In each tribe.

They only react to a true heir and Red Demon's reincarnation to lend their abilities to the guardian.
