27 Kevin vs Drake
Kevin jumped back and looked at Drake who had took his fighting stance again.
Kevin was shocked that Drake had precisely attacked his previous position, if he hadn't trusted his instincts and jumped, he would have been heavily injured.
' Can he see me?'
' No, if he could, he would have followed me after his attack. ' Kevin thought.
He had a few guesses and decided to test them.
He once again approached Drake and threw a punch at him but like before Drake precisely attacked his position.
Kevin this time was even more on guard so he easily dodged Drake's attack.
Kevin tried again but this time he didn't have any intent to attack Drake, he just went near him and circled around him but unlike before, Drake didn't attack, it was as if he couldn't feel Kevin presence at all.

' Interesting. ' Kevin said inwardly, he finally knew how Drake could guess his position, It seemed like Drake had something that only someone who had faced death many time had.
Drake had somehow managed to develop his instincts to a higher level than any other normal person.
Every living being had instincts, for example sometimes a mother would know that something bad is about to happen to her child etc.
Many warriors developed these instincts to a greater level in times of wars, where they had to face death countless times.
Kevin was now sure about his guess but now he was even more interested in finding out how could Drake attain such a feat in such a young age.

Kevin made a distance between them and deactivated the Invisible skill, Drake opened his eyes and found Kevin standing with a glint in his eyes.
Kevin took out his spear from the Inventory and took his fighting stance.
Everyone in the audience was shocked to see Drake managing to hold his ground against Kevin's vanishing trick, they had so much to talk but they didn't want to miss a single second of the fighting.

Kevin and Drake both charged toward each other, Drake slashed his sword toward kevin which was blocked by Kevin's spear.
Immediately, kevin removed one of his hand from the spear and grabbed the wrist of Drake's sword holding hand, jumping from the platform he rotated his body as he swung his foot toward Drake's face.
Drake used his free hand to block the leg but didn't expect kevin to use 'Lightning release.'

Just as kevin was about to use that spell, Drake tried to jump away but kevin held his wrist tightly.
With both his hand occupied, Drake tried to use his leg to kick kevin but Kevin skillfully used his other leg to block that.
Just as Kevin blocked Drake's kick, streaks of lightning came out of Kevin's body in every direction, engulfing Drake and half of the fighting platform among themselves.
Kevin expected Drake to cry out in pain but instead his instincts told him get away quickly.
Kevin immediately used his leg to push Drake away and used the recoil to get some distance between them.
As the lightning subsided, kevin looked at the huge black sphere present at Drake previous position.
Kevin's eyes narrowed as by guessing the mana purity he could tell that Drake was at least a Dark Red Core mage with darkness element.
Darkness and light elements both were pretty rare, while the light element was affinity with healing and was considered as holy magic, darkness element was not looked at in a good way as mages with darkness elements had considerable advantages at night and mainly affiliated with sneak attack and assassination.
Kevin narrowed his eyes as the black sphere dispersed leaving the unharmed Drake on the fighting platform.

Drake looked at Kevin with a glint in his eyes and spoke for the first time with his opponent ever since entering the tournament.
" You are good."
Kevin looked at Drake with a smile and said.
" Then why don't you become my follower?"
Kevin said that to know more about what type of person Drake was, although this may seem unnecessary in fighting to some, but knew that one could convert a defeat into a victory if used the opponent's weakness perfectly.
" You are not qualified enough. " Drake answered while still maintaining his emotionless face and continued.
" Do you still want to continue? "
Kevin smirked at Drake's words and said.
" I didn't think you would throw the match away. "
Drake didn't speak anymore and a layer of black flames coated his sword.
Kevin didn't fall behind and used lightning spear to coat his spear in lightning as he could feel a dangerous vibe from Drake's sword.

Drake charged toward kevin who was in his fighting stance and slashed his sword toward him.
Kevin who was well prepared, blocked it with his spear, at the same time used two water serpents materialized in the air and attacked Drake's neck.
Drake formed a black circular shield, rendering Kevin's attack useless and then immediately threw it toward Kevin's face.
A water wall formed in front of kevin and blocked the black shield.
Kevin didn't wait and rotated his spear to attack Drake's legs which he dodged by jumping in the air.
Kevin fired a waterball about four times the size of a football while also adding lightning mana in it toward Drake who was in air.
Drake looked at the giant water ball and didn't hesitate to cut it with his sword but couldn't see the spear hidden behind the waterball in time.
Kevin had made sure to perfectly time the waterball and his jump, resulting in Drake having no time to dodge the spear.
Although he tried to move his body but the spear still managed to get embedded in his right shoulder and lightning flowed through Drake's body, causing him to be stiff for a moment, which was more than enough for kevin to kick him hard toward the hard platform.
" BAMMM!! "
Drake collided with the hard fighting platform and caused the fighting platform to crack as his painful cry resounded in the arena.
" Aarghh!!"
