It is definitely my favourite among this week's trial reads. The FL isn't stupid and most importantly, she isn't some overpowered superior being who can suddenly beat a gang of thugs and also secretly owns the largest companies in the world while being a genius hacker and miracle doctor at the same time (you know the usual nonsense). Hopefully, she won't suddenly turn up such overbearing secret identities. I like the relationship with the ML and I can't wait for when the romance really heats up. Anyway, I hope that this one gets picked. If anyone knows the raws, please let me know.

So far so good. The FL is clever but no invincible genius. I love how poised she is when dealing with her foster family. The foster family is also interesting, especially the real daughter. For one, we actually have a white lotus that still needs to work on her mask 😂 It's really different from the usual "the other sister is so perfect and cleverer than the FL and everyone just loves her sooo much) I also like the ML even if we don't know that much about him yet. He's mysterious but caring and as of chapter 20, shows no sign of overbearing personality. He seems like a rational man who just genuinely likes the FL.

This is the same cliche revenge story where the abused Mary Sue MC is so overwhelmingly beautiful and super rich, she just slaps her unrelated sister and adoptive parents with money repeatedly for face-slapping. Of course, her love interest is painfully OP, is from one of the top four families of the city, is the CEO of the best company ever, and squanders money for useless material goods for the MC. All the characters are distinctive and memorable for the most part; some of them appear without introduction, and many have no description. Even now, I have no idea what the MC's parents or sisters look like. Is the ML handsome? Don't know. Heck, I don't even know what the MC looks like other than she's so super beautiful that everyone either covets her or is jealous of her. The OPness is downright painful to read. There is very little imagery. I think the setting is modern-day, but no information has been given about it. The characters are quite shallow. Even though it's unnatural for parents to so purely disregard the child they've raised for nearly two decades, the writer appears to just copy the character designs and plots from other superficial Chinese novels. Whatever happened to originality or variety? There is no buildup of the story in the beginning, so readers cannot experience the MC's life before her rebirth. This is just like all the other series with the same plot line and characters. Money and superficial appearances are important than anything else. Not recommended.

Feel cheated. The chapter listing of ths story says “Completed” at chapter 160. Is it really completed or has it been dropped?? Why does Webnovel allow such deception? You make us pay to read something that will never be finished 😡

This is based on 40 chapters. Because of the synopsis, readers may think "we've read this kind of story before" (& you're not wrong to some extent) but it's a story worth giving a try. So far, FL isn't some all powerful character with hidden super abilities but she is smart in how she goes about handling her business. It's fun to see her face slap those who harmed/want to harm her. Of course she has the loyal ML to help her & their relationship is developing well.

Does anyone have the original? trying to find, very good so far. 100% recommend. Does anyone of the RAW?

I’m not sure if it’s the writing the pacing or just the story in general but it does not read well. It’s bland and I can get a bit confusing in the words I’m not sure if that’s the translation I feel like it’s the translation. But either way not very interesting complete pass

I’m liking it so far... I really hope it gets picked up. I hate it when I start a good book and can’t finish it... 🤓 I’m seriously rooting for Su Yan.

Honestly one of my better rated books. It is finished!!! So always a bonus there. I think the plot could have been more descriptive. There are minor issues with editing but it is consistent. All in all I definitely recommend it! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I enjoyed reading this story. though I do feel something missing at the end. but how it ended was not too bad. the romance between the FL and ML was not too much but they still had their moments. now we are just waiting for her career growth and her wedding. 😁

All I felt after reading the 40 chapters is anger. I cannot even feel the cuteness of the romantic side of the story. Perhaps it is because I find the Female Lead weak in character.

The story is interesting and I like some of the characters, but there's so much that's lacking. There's inconsistencies with some of the plot. Background for this isn't developed fully either. The story also seems to move a little too quickly. I feel this could be a better story if it was edited and the characters and world were built a little more.
