1 THE FAKE IDENTITY

LEE, the most popular diva of Thomas high school, the rich spoilt brat, the playgirl over who every boy drools over and every girl wants to be her other than MARIA. Maria is lee's childhood best friend who has been torn apart from lee because of the social gap that came in between two pretty best friends.

"Hey, girls "

"Look, the pretty bitch is here" exclaimed lee in a disgusted tone to Maria

Maria just sighed and moved aside from the way and left suppressing the desire to slap her best friend and then hug her for eternity.

She is devastated by the fact that her cute sisy has become the badass queen of the school and looks down upon people.

Maria enters her class only to be greeted by a bunch of bullies. she wants to resist but fears creating a scene so she just suffers in silence. She thinks of the happy memories with lee till she passes out then and there. Thats when the teacher enters the class and ignores that a girl is literally passed out and bleeding on the floor, she throws disgusted looks at her and calls a helper to take her away to the medics.

"Eww, what was that?" the teacher disgusted growled in the class making everyone quiet and shocked by her behavior.

Maria in this school was the mysterious kid who was decent but no one knew her whereabouts just like another girl lee. Then jeerawat stood and roared at the teacher

"What kind of teacher are you?"

The whole class shrugged including the teacher and continued the class as if nothing had happened in a million years.

Jeerawat was pissed at the teacher and wanted to help Maria but she knew nothing about her other than the fact that she was bullied and she was interested in checking on Maria so she didn't ask the teacher and instead barged out of the room.

Being a new student she didn't know all the places yet and was looking around

"so sorry I wasn't looking on my way " she apologized multiple times just to earn a disgusted look from a random guy she didn't know. She thought it was best to leave so she just went away purposely bumping into that guy and went off casually ignoring the screams demanding her to come back there. She just went away in the search of the medical room where Maria was supposed to be. After a walk of good 32 minutes, jeerawat finally found the medical room but it looked creepy, being a curious girl entered just to see a pale body lying on the floor. She mustered up the courage to look who it was and was horrified by looking at the face it was Maria more beaten up than before and on the verge of death,jeerawat gave her CPR and necessary first aid and rushed out with Maria in her hands handling her as a lost puppy, the whole school including her was amazed by the fact how was she able to pick her up so easily.

"call the ambulance" she was shouting in the hallway only to get no responses but only eyeballs on the verge of popping out luckily a guy helped by taking them to the hospital in his car. The way to the hospital was just filled with anxiety. Maria was straight taken to the operating theatre and was then shifted to ICU her condition was critical but the doctors could do nothing but monitor her for a few days giving a complete bed rest.

"Thank you for the help" jeerawat thanked the guy

he chuckled saying "girl you must be bipolar" jeerawat was confused when she widened her eyes remembering he was the one she bumped into.

"Umm... Hi, I am jeerawat and I'm new in this school " she gave a sweet smile.

"Hi, I'm Thomas, the owner's son but do not tell anybody" passed back the smile.

Thomas asked jeerawat "how did she end up beaten this badly, were there no teachers or helpers around?"

Jeerawat remembering the teacher's words was pissed again and told Thomas the whole incident that happened in the class, she sternly mentioned the teacher's behavior which was unacceptable to her. Thomas was raging listening to all that happened so he excused himself just to make a call.

When he returned he was greeted by a cute curled-up sleeping figure of jeerawat who he find very pretty and charming to the level where he admired her and made her sleep on his shoulder instead and soon a pair of cute snores filled the hallway after few hours jeerawat woke up and went to check upon an unconscious Maria and returned to wake Thomas and thanked him and asked him to leave and rest at home Thomas then gave his no. to jeerawat assuring her to call anytime if she need s help they were gazing in each other's eyes when they were startled by the doctor giving them the good news that Maria is out of danger and just needs rest but she is traumatized by repeated abuse and mental stress. After Thomas left jeerawat was embarrassed about the situation moments ago and left to meet Maria. fortunately, Maria was awake by the time, jeerawat entered the room to see Maria shaking she went and hugged her tightly till she stopped shaking and come back to her senses, soon she stopped crying and then thanked jeerawat for saving her life, jeerawat then asked her who did this to her she again started sobbing so jeerawat changed the topic by suddenly asking her "do u have a crush?"

Maria blushed and nodded her head, jeerawat then teased her asking her the name of her crush but Maria didn't bulge, soon they became comfortable with each other so jeerawat asked her where she live Maria's expression changed suddenly to a cold one and she said: "why?"Jeerawat was taken aback for a moment but then heard Maria cracking up "it is #444 hope lane, d block" Maria told her address.

The day went by just Maria and jeerawat chilling and talking about random stuff, as the night came Maria urged jeerawat to go and take a rest after a long negotiation jeerawat was convinced to go home and come after taking a shower.

As soon as she left the room and went home

the door of maria's room flung open ...

{midnight}

Jeerawat came back all refreshed with a few snacks and a warm smile only to find an empty room with no one inside it with a burning black note, she rushed and put the fire out and dried the sheet of paper but to her surprise, it was blank putting that in her bag she rushed to the reception to ask about Maria. The receptionist looked at her weirdly saying "Ma'am which room are u talking about?"

"444" she answered the receptionist remained silent for a minute and asked all the details about Maria only to tell jeerawat that there is no such patient in the hospital.

Confused jeerawat left the hospital and tried to call Thomas but that was not a valid no.

jeerawat was so confused about not being able to contact anyone and not finding the potential friend she hoped to have...

then with a gush of wind, the night disappeared, jeerawat was so frustrated with the fact that she is not able to dig the whole truth and questioned the reality of the existence of that day when she found the black paper that has increased in size she ignored the fact of the increase of size and crumbled and threw in the dustbin.
