A Normal Girl

Dion, a man always in control, his every action, his every word felt so godly to her but now.. The way he was standing there stunned like a fool staring at the young girl as if she was a mercenary left her with a perverse delight. 

She enjoyed his confused state. Alas, it only lasted for a second. His eyes went grim faster than she could turn and walk to the young girl and narrowed at her.

"Explain!" he demanded as if he was in control. He was, but it felt bad to accept it. But as she was thinking of a good reply, Penny only smiled as if the whole conversation was ludicrous.

"You do not know me, my lord?" there was a twinkle in her voice that surprised Abi. but Dion's eyes narrowed.

Abi blocked Penny from Dion before she knew what she was doing.

"I brought her here because I needed a helper." she claimed in a calm voice when Dion raised a brow. She did not know what he was thinking. But the air around him changed.
