THE AUCTION

While all this was going on, May stood at one side and thought of an idea to get Nick's attention.

Soon the auction started. Paintings of the Ye cooperation had a unique Asian culture embedded on it, so they got to sell it at a decent price. Many other antiques were also displayed and bid on. Lastly, the Melancholic Mountain was displayed. it's bid started from 1million but soon it reached 8million before it finally sold.

After the bidding, there was an after party that was held to celebrate the auctions success.

" Hello Mr Nick, it's nice seeing you here tonight." May said as she approached him.

"Hello and you are?" Nick asked quite uninterested.

" Sorry I nearly forgot. My name is May, CEO of Late Perfumes" Mia said with an awkward smile as she extended her hands for a handshake.

" okay" Nick said as he shook her hands out of respect.

May then engaged into a conversation. By this time, many reporters have captured pictures of the two together and that's exactly what May wanted. she wanted to use the media to get to him.

Soon it was the end of the party and all the guest made their way out of the museum. when May got out of the venue, some of the reporters rushed and asked her if she was the special someone Nick was talking about but she just smiled and left without saying anything.

At first the reporters were confused a little but when they thought back on it, she neither accepted or denied it so they assumed she was being low-key on her relashionship with Nick. The reporters were very happy that night, as this was the first time they got an information on Nick's relationship status.

Magret was standing in front of one of the artworks sent by the Ye cooperation and appreciating it. She really missed Wang Ye. sometimes she even ask herself what if she was born in China, would it have made it more simple.

As she was deep in her thoughts, she didn't notice someone come in and stand behind her. At that moment the person hugged her from behind which startled her. She had wanted to free herself from that person quickly at first but her eyes widened when she smelled Wang Ye's cologne as she tried to break free.

She quickly turned and hugged him tightly as tears of joy streamed down her cheeks.

" Baby why are you crying, are you not happy to see me" Wang Ye teased as he wanted to ease her.

" Am crying because am happy. why didn't you tell me you were coming" Magret asked as they seperated from each other's arms.

" If I had told you I was coming would it have been a surprise" Wang Ye also questioned with a teasing smile.

" Okay" Magret said like a child.

" Should we leave this place?" Wang Ye asked with a raised brow.

" to where?" Magret asked as she became curious.

" To a place you love, my arms" Wang Ye said as he pulled the shy Magret out of the venue. They met Julie and Nick on their way out and magret signalled Julie that she wasnt coming home that night.

" He is our Chinese partner, CEO of the Ye's cooperation and Magrets boyfriend" Julie said as they entered her office.

" Oh okay. Congratulations on the success of todays auction event." Nick said as they stood in front of the glassy wall in Julie's office.

" Thank you for coming" Julie said with appreciation.

" Today my girlfriend looked like an angel, I couldn't even take my eyes of her. so tell me, was my girlfriend happy to see me today" Nick asked with a sweet smile.

" Yes your girlfriend was very happy to see you. Her boyfriend was very handsome to the extend that his light shone brightly from the moment he came in till now." Julie replied with a spark in her eyes.

" Then am very glad that i was able to make my girlfriend happy" Nick said with delight. just then the fireworks started and it shown through the glassy wall.

As the couple watched the beautiful fireworks, they couldnt stop but appreciate it's beauty. As the fireworks continued, Nick turned to look at Julie. He kept staring at her beautiful side profile when Julie turned to also look at him. They two starred at each other as they slowly brought their lips together before they started kissing. They kissed for sometime and only stopped when they ran out of breath.

At this moment Wang Ye and Magret had already reached the hotel. The two immediately started kissing the moment they entered the hotel room.

" You don't know how much i missed you since the last time we met" Wang Ye said in between their kisses. Soon all that could be seen is the scattered clothes in the room followed by the moans of the their intertwined body moving in the same rythmm.

By this time at the center of the city, May was drinking to herself as she waited patiently for the news of the following day in her apartment.

Breaking news: News of ceo of Thompsons group of companies saying he came to a special someone at the Julie's Art Museums auction yesternight.

News: CEO of late perfumes May neither accepted or denied being Mr Nick's special someone.

News: CEO of late perfumes and ceo of the Thompson's group spotted together, could she be the special someone.

" if he is responsible and smart as you said then I don't think you need to worry about it, he would surely handle it" Wang Ye replied.
