PROVING HERSELF 1

After various news articles revealed the collabration between the Thompsons Group and Julie's Art Museum, Many people didn't like the idea especially those in the art industry.They felt that Julie's museum was just newly established and it wasn't much famous let alone even have any great achievements.They also said it was a pity that they invested in that art gallery.

This news caused quite a stir in the art industry and even in the investment field.Many people thought he made a wrong decision collabrating with a newly founded art gallary. Some of the art lovers also expressed their discontent by expressing their views on various social media platforms.

But some also sticked up for Nick saying even though he just branched to the art industry based on his previous achievements, he wouldn't take a wrong step and so they believed he had his reasons for making that partnership.

"Miss Julie,The news of our partnership with the Thompsons has caused a huge commotion in the art industry. It has really helped in the publicity growth of the museum but at the same time, it has brought pressure for the company" Mr Steves the company's advertisement head said during their meeting disdainfully.

"Although it's good and bad at the same time, I think it has really raised the business in a good way because according to the statistics, the publicity rate is high and so it highly predicts the raise in the business"Mr Alfred, the business administrator added.

" So since it like this, what can be the possible outcome" Magret asked in seriousness.

" But due to the Livestream we held during the exhibition, many people stood up for your capability and so it isn't that bad and now we have over three million followers on our social media platform. Which is also good for the museums exposure"Laura added.

" After the exhibition, many guests visited the museum and sales were even good compared to the previous week"said Mike.

" With the problem concerning the collaboration with the Thompsons, Laura update on our official website and tell them it's just the begining and we will make sure to provide them with a good result."Julie said while staring at Laura.

" Yes miss"laura said.

"And I think that will solve the first problem. For the second one, I think it's good with the business up rising but I also understand that there will be more expectation from the public and so I hope we work hard to meet that requirement.Lucy, with the increase in number of the visitors, can you two handle it alone?" asked Julie with a lot of seriousness.

" yes and besides Laura helps us whenever she's not streaming" Lucy answered.

" Good, then I hope we work harder and together to protect the image of the company.If there is nothing else, the meeting is over "Julie added and so the meeting came to an end.

"Actually today is the first time I've seen you act more like a CEO since our opening, your seriousness in handelling the issues was very good"Magret praised Julie as soon as they entered Julie's office.

" Is that true?" Julie asked as she sat on the sofa.

"yes it's very true" Magret said with a small luaghter.

"Actually I don't want to let my dad down. I don't want to disappoint any of us here and besides I shouldn't destroy our current deal even more. so I think, I should just mature a little bit more and besides am almost twenty one" Julie said calmly.

" Yes I can see and am very proud of your growth. Am even more happy to have accompanied you through this growth" Magret said emotionally.

" Yes and am really thankful for your continuous love and support. I will always make you proud of me" Julie said as she engulfed Magret in a tight hug.

The next six months was a very difficult but also impactful yet successful phase in Julie's career. In between this six months, the museum got successful in both business and publicity which convinced most of the people who viewed their dissatisfaction with the Thompsons decision on the investment earlier on.

The road wasn't entirely smooth for the museum but they worked hard to improvise the growth of the company. And of course, even though Nick and Julie had some contacts, he never interfered with her work and just offered his support for her throughout.

Even though, the two of them saw each other differently,they didn't think much into it after all they considered themselves as "just" business partners and rarely interacted due to their busy schedules especially Nick but that didn't mean they didn't interact with each other on the phone.

"Nick, it seems your expectations for her aren't wrong and she really proved to be quite impressive" Theo said as they sat in Nick's office.

In the outside world, they are just a boss with his assistant but on the inside their friendship is like brotherhood .

"That's right she's proven to be quite capable. I didn't Know why I wanted to make that investment even though I knew that there was huge risk"Nick said calmly.

" But I don't get one thing, I've never seen you even decided to invest in even the most capable females in the business world?" Theo suddenly asked.

" Actually I also don't seem to understand it. when I first saw her at the art exhition , I witnessed both her intelligence and capibility. i just got drawn to her" replied Nick while glancing at a document casually.

" You were drawn by her beauty right?" Theo teased. Nick raised his head and glared at him without speaking.

" Okay I'll keep quiet. By the way your father asked his secretary to tell you to come and visit him this weekend and I guess he is going to find you a girl to marry" Theo said with laughter.

" Out!" Nick said as he got ready to throw the document in his hand at Theo who sensed it and dodged before going leaving the office with a mocking face.
