ASKED ME OUT

"Feel free to talk to me when you need some help" Nick said .

" okay thanks. So today I got a business proposal from another company who wanted to be my biggest investor" Julie said calmly.

" So are you considering it?" Nick asked.

" Maybe" Julie replied.

" Is their proposal better than mine'' Nick asked with a raised eye brow.

" Yes" answered Julie straight forwardly.

" Ok how about we make amendments to our contract to suit your conditions" Nick asked.

" No it's good as it is now. no need to trouble yourself" Julie said calmly.

"Okay good" Nick said.

" If I had wanted to change investors, would you have let it go just like that" questioned Julie.

" Honestly I can let the deal go but not you. I can't let you go"Nick said as he looked Julie in the eye.

"Why" Julie asked as she stared back into his eyes.

"Because I am attached to you. Can I ask you out?" Nick said but one can trace a slight of nervousness in his voice.

" Okay but I want us to know each other more and decide later" Julie said a little bit shy.

"Okay then I guess you are my girlfriend from now on. Actually this is the first time am wooing a girl and also my first time getting in a relationship. So I may miss some details but if that really happens I hope you communicate " Nick said truthfully.

" So from now on my boyfriend, I hope you can also communicate if something goes wrong. This is also my first relationship after all" Julie also added with a smile.

That night, when Nick went to drop Julie at her apartment, they talked about so many things about themselves and really got along with each other. Julie also told Nick about her plan to move out and he told her not to worry as he would arrange it for her.

When Julie got home, she told Magret everything and how excited she was when he proposed to her but as they are getting to know each other, She was very pleased to be able discover many things about him. Magret was also very happy for her.

The next day at work.

" Miss the CEO of Late Perfumes is here to see you" Nessa said through the line.

" Bring her in" Julie said.

After a while the two arrived at Julie's office. Julie then offered her a seat before they started talking about business.

"Hello am May, Ceo of Late perfumes" May said with a smile that didn't actually reach her eyes.

"Hello am Julie" julie said calmly.

" Ok straight to business. I want to shoot an art based commercial for my newly released perfume. I wonder if you will allow us to use your art gallery" Said May before handling over the detailed contract to Julie.

" Okay but I would like to add one condition to the contract, anything damaged must be paid for" Julie said after reading through the contract.

"Okay I guess its a deal then. I will adjust the contract and send it to you. Hope we have a good cooperation." May said as she extended her hand for a handshake.

" okay, then i will wait for the adjusted contract. Let me walk you out" Julie said with a smile as she shook hands with May. After that, they left the office.

When the two reached the reception, Lucy unintentionally bumped into May which resulted to May throwing a slap at her face. This act made Julie very angry as she told May to apologise to her staff.

At first May seemed unwilling but as she thought of the yet to sign contract, she swallowed her anger and apologized . After that, she asked Julie not to make that incident ruin their contract and Julie gave her a word.

When May entered her car she angrily threw her bag at the back seat.

" Who does she think she is? How dare she humiliate me infront of her so called staff?. If not for the fact that I want to get close to Nick , I won't even waste my time to go to that shabby place" May said angrily as she drove off.

Actually, May once met Nick at a high end business diner. She fell in love with him at first sight. Although Nick didn't notice her let alone know about her still decided to chase after him. Since that dinner, she tried her best to get in contact with him but it was to no avail. Later on, she got to know that he is an investor in Julie's museum and so she made a plan to approach her. Luckily it worked even though she almost ruined everything herself.

Two days later, Julie received the adjusted contract. As they only knew of the front view of the museum, they decided to use the artworks and inside the museum.

" So when are you planing on coming to America, it's been two months since I last saw you" Magret said to Wang Ye during their Face time.

" Currently I've been really busy with work but don't worry, I will surely come and see you" Wang Ye said.

" I understand you. Just take good care of yourself for me and I will do the same thing here. I miss you so very much" said Magret as she pouted.

" I miss you too baby. Don't worry I will take good care of my health. You have to rest now, it's already night time in your country." Said Wang Ye.

" Okay dear. take care I love you"Magret said.

" Okay. I love you too" Wang Ye said before ending the call.

Just as Magret ended the call, Julie came inside.

" Hey, how was work today" Magret asked as soon as Julie entered the room.

"Quite tedious today" Julie said as she let her body fall on the sofa.

"Did something happen at the company today?" Magret asked às she sat up straight on the sofa.

" Today the CEO of late Perfumes came with a contract to shoot a commercial at our museum. When I was walking her out, Lucy unintentionally bumped into her and she slapped her. Even though I made her apologise, it still made me angry." Julie said.

" That's good. how was the CEO" Magret asked.

" Even though she continued smiling, I couldn't feel an ounce of sincerity in it" said Julie.

" Okay then you have to be careful" Magret said to Julie .

" Okay I also got a good news for you, I got us a new house" Julie said hapilly.
