Chapter 69: Chilled Knight

Multiple massive fireballs hurled towards the center of the nesting area, as the 6 Greater Wyverns blasted them at once.

Derus raised his shield. "Prepare for the incoming attack, fellas!"

The supports and healers created magical barriers around them to at least lessen the damage that they would receive once the fireballs reach them.

The fireballs arrived, however, the moment they got near, they instantly disappeared in thin air, leaving no trace at all.

Just like everyone, Derus eyes widened as he looked up to the former location of the supposed to be fireballs about to attack them. "What the hell was that? Did any of you eat it?"

The next thing they saw was Roshan surging to the sky.

Derus shook his shiny head. "That lad has no chill."

As the fireballs disappeared, the remaining Wyverns rushed back towards them.

"The fight isn't done, my fellas! Let's smash these flying Sierras!"

Roshan propelled towards the strongest Greater Wyvern. Upon seeing him, the Greater Wyvern blasted multiple fireballs to stop him, but it instantly disappeared in thin air before it could even reach him.

But, before he could, there were people already reached his destination, just like him, they were traveling very fast and precise.

He flew all the way up on its head and landed on top. He crossed his arms as he stared at the 2 people with him, standing between the wings of the Greater Wyvern. "Are you done playing?"

"Roshy!" Levy waved her hand to him with a big smile on her face.

Kito was holding his sword with a white handle in his hand while on the other hand, he was holding Levy, his other sword with black handle was floating in Levy's back being held by tentacle-like dark limbs, and they were 8 of those limbs around both of them, in addition to the pale yellow barrier around them.

The Wyvern they were riding on roared as it shook its body to get rid of them.

Kito smiled upon seeing him. "The wind here feels good isn't it?"

As Kito said the words, both of the wings of the Greater Wyvern started to freeze. The gigantic Wyvern slowly descended as it roared. Afterward, Kito cut off both of its wings using his swords preventing the Greater Wyvern to struggle.

Half of Roshan's lips rose. "Yeah, and the view is good too."

In a blink of an eye. The head of Greater Wyvern instantly detached from its body and slowly fell.

Roshan jumped up towards his next target while looking down at the 2 slowly descending to the ground.

The 5 remaining Greater Wyvern blasted some gigantic fireballs towards him but they instantly disappeared, rendering them no means to counter him.

He flew towards the current strongest in the bunch, his body whirled mid-air, and by reinforcing his foot with Gravity Manipulation, greatly increasing his foot's mass. He kicked the Greater Wyvern on its face and instantly crushed its skull and rushed down.

The 4 Greater Wyvern surrounding him blasted their fireballs even though it was already proven ineffective.

He flew towards one of the four. "The Hati from the cave is more powerful than these guys. The only advantage they got is they can fly."

The unnerving cry of the Greater Wyvern nearby made him shift his gaze towards it. The Greater Wyvern was struggling to get out of the gigantic dark ball slowly pulling it inside. At the same time, the user of the skill surged towards him and stood up between the wings of Greater Wyvern he was in.

Levy was no longer with him and currently fighting with the other adventurers beneath.

"We are the only ones who can reach these big guys, so it's up to us to deal with them, and let the other handle the rest beneath. We still need to deal with the remaining 3," Kito announced.

While Roshan jumped on another one. "Now, let's try this one." As he flew towards the remaining Greater Wyvern, he activated his Thunder God Zeus and white sparks of electricity emerged from his hand and covered his entire arm.

As the Greater Wyvern saw him, rather than to repeat the ineffective fire attacks, the Greater Wyvern fled with an attempt to escape from its impending doom.

With great speed, he caught up in the escaping Greater Wyvern. He flew up straight to its head, whirled mid-air, and punched its forehead using his hand clad with Thunder God Zeus.

The Greater Wyvern's body shivered as its body was covered in thunder sparks, the intensity of the continuous attack was so great its eyes started to pop out from its head.

The final 2 Greater Wyverns slammed to the ground. The other one was frozen solid and instantly broke down to pieces the moment it hit the ground, while the other one was grilled by intense electricity that smoke was coming out of its body.

Both Kito and Roshan landed on the ground at the same time. They were no longer enemies left.

What was left was their corpses lying on the ground. The roars of the adventurers cheered them while they were slowly walked towards the group. Both Derus and Levy were waving their hands on them along with adventurers with them.

Kito raised his hand. "Let's go home!"

The battle was still far from over.

The menacing roar coming from the direction of the forest nearby was arriving in their location with great speed. The sound of its gigantic powerful wings resounded throughout the area.

Kito stopped walking and looked up to the sky. "That's not a good sound."

All the adventurers grabbed their weapons as the silhouette of the owner of the unnerving roar emerged from the sky, and by seeing it, their jaws dropped and their eyes widened.

The massive monster roared again, but this time it was already right above them and covering the ray of the noon sunlight.

Kito grabbed his swords. "Now I know why there are only six of them."

Roshan looked up to the sky and found the bright red eyes of the massive Wyvern directly looking at them.

"Damn, what did you eat to be that big?"
