The Eye Of The Moon Plan

Erik Saltzman was a young man, a normal student who spent his time studying and playing games. Enjoying his time with his family, annoying his little sister, singing songs and much more. His life was plain and simple but he didn't have any complaints with it. He was happy with what he had. Unfortunately, his simple life came to an end when he died at a young age of 17, courtesy of [Truck Association]. Upon his death, instead of finding peace, his soul was abducted by an Outer-God. The dangerously powerful entity was able to "convince" Erik Saltzman soul about the world being riddled with pain and agony. He asked Erik if he wanted to end this "Cycle of Eternal Damnation". Outer God:- I will grant you strength, to end this all, no more suffering and everyone will be happy. Erik:- What is the price? True Paradise is just a fantasy which can't be achieved no matter what you do. Outer God:- It is true that a thing such as True Paradise can only be dreamt of but what if we change the reality into a dream? After all, everything is possible in a never-ending dream. Erik:- What do you propose? Outer-God:- To create a True Paradise, you must first make the "Impossible" into something "Possible". Erik:- Swapping reality with an everlasting dream..? Outer-God:- The "Eye Of The Moon Plan" Erik:- Madara wasn't able to succeed, and I don't need to tell you about his capabilities. What makes you think that I would succeed in doing something that he couldn't? Outer-God:- Firstly, You aren't affected by Plot-armour and secondly, you don't blindly believe in anything, you're caution and decision making sets you apart the rest. Erik:- Hm...How do you propose to even start this "Plan for Salvation"? Outer-God:- You will be sent to a dream world, [Irregular at Magic High school]. You will need to successfully put everyone in that world into a dream. That world is heading towards its destruction, so begin from there first. Erik:-Irregular world? You do know the danger that infests that world right? Not to mention the broken protagonist and his sister, how am I even supposed to survive there? Outer-God:- That where I come in, I will grant you a few abilities which shall help you in your endeavour. Erik:- Hmm..... Outer-God:- You would ask about your family? How they are? Erik:- Unfortunately, I can no longer affect that world and from my observation, you too can't....otherwise you would have chosen someone with a higher success rate. Outer-God:- On-point observation indeed. Erik:- I can only pray for them to have a happy life and move on. Outer-God:-Indeed... ----------------------------------------------------------- •Cover:-Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint. •Release rate:-4 chapters worth 1000 words per week. Chapter-79 "I gave you my word." (Side Chapter-2)

(A/N:-A couple of weeks before Mayumi's confession.)

-----------------------------------------------------------------

2093, Tokyo, Kudou Mansion...

It has been 2-weeks since the hotel attack, the [Ten-Master Clans Conference] was concluded on the following day.

The Ichijou, Futatsugi, Mitsuya, Yotsuba, Itsuwa, Mutsuzuka, Saegusa, Yatsushiro, Kudou, Juumonji were once again selected to the 10 Master Clans.

——>>>

Two individuals could be seen standing in an adequate room, both of them wore plain outfits but displayed extraordinary demeanor.

Both of them could be seen conversing with each other, in a polite exchange.

"Have a seat, Mr.Saltzman." (Minoru)

"Thank you, Kudou-san." (Erik)

The man named Erik Saltzman took his seat and sat down on the sofa, looking towards the young man sitting across him on a similar sofa.

"Just call me Minoru, Mr.Saltzman. I don't feel comfortable being addressed by my surname, especially since you are not much older than me." (Minoru)

"Alright, you can also address me by my name." (Erik)

"Hm..." (Minoru)

"I wouldn't waste our time discussing trivia, so coming straight to the point. I am here to rid you of your illness, as promised." (Erik)

He had a serious expression on his face as he placed a suitcase on the table in front of him, signifying that he had come well prepared.

"Erik-sama, honestly you should have waited until your injuries were healed." (Minoru)

Minoru had a hesitant expression on his face as he looked towards the multiple stitches running along Erik's neck.

"I have waited for so long, a couple more weeks were nothing to me." (Minoru)

His voice lacked firmness, showcasing his wavering will as he remembered how much he had suffered from his illness.

Noticing the lack of confidence within his tone, Erik spoke up.

"That is indeed true but I don't break my word. I gave you my word that I would heal you after the conference was over." (Erik)

"It has been 2-weeks, I have already this delayed long enough." (Erik)

"Not to mention, my injuries are barely a problem." (Erik)

Erik wasn't harmed when fighting against The King but in order to not raise any suspicion or interest from the different individuals present in the room.

He purposely inflicted injuries on himself to make the fight a tad bit more believable.

And it worked like a charm.

Katsuto was unconscious for a few days due to psion deficiency after pouring all of his magic into destroying The King's body.

Making the whole situation look like a hard-won battle.

Click!

The doorknob of the room rotated with a click sound before the door was gently opened by the newcomer.

*Sound of Steps*

"Minoru is correct, Mr.Saltzman. You should have focused on recovering completely before coming here." (Elder Retsu)

The 90+ old man made his way inside the room before locking the room from inside.

He too wore simple clothes with his hair neatly combed towards the left side of his head.

Both he and Minoru shared a similar demeanor.

Truly an interesting grandson-grandfather pair, even their expressions are very similar to each other.

Hearing Elder Retsu's words, Erik just shook his head before speaking up.

"Let not argue about this anymore, now that I am here. I intend to fulfill my end of the agreement." (Erik)

Not in the mood for jokes, Erik opened the briefcase that he had previously placed on the table.

Nine black stakes could be seen inside the suitcase, these stakes was the same weapon that he had used against The King.

"Why does it contain stakes, Mr.Saltzman?" (Minoru)

Minoru had a confused expression on his face as he looked towards the stakes, an unsettling feeling spreading throughout his body.

"I am going to heal you using an [Ancient Magic] that I had been researching on for the past five years." (Erik)

"The treatment involves the patient to be staked at nine-different locations on the body. I will then use my magic to inject vitality within your body and reconstruct it." (Erik)

"It will be a painful process but it will work, I can guarantee it." (Erik)

Erik had a calm expression on his face as he casually suggests passing nine-stakes through Minoru's body.

"This...." (Elder Retsu)

"Mr.Saltzman, being staked..... isn't it a bit too much? Minoru isn't even 17 yet." (Elder Retsu)

Erik's method seemed a bit too extreme to Elder Retsu, he couldn't help but feel that Minoru shouldn't go through with the procedure.

What kind of grandfather would allow his grandson to get pierced by nine-stakes in the name of treatment?

"I understand your feelings Elder Retsu but this is the only available option that I have. Sure the pain will be surreal but your grandson will be physically reborn." (Elder Retsu)

"I—" (Elder Retsu)

"It's okay grandfather, if I can be fixed once for all then I don't care how much pain I need to endure." (Minoru)

Minoru had made up his mind, he wanted to go through with what Erik had just proposed.

To say he wasn't afraid or nervous would be outright lying, he was scared out of his wits but he trusted Erik's skills and status.

"....If that's what you wish for, I will not stop you." (Elder Retsu)

Knowing that his grandson had made up his mind, Retsu didn't waste his breath trying to dissuade him and led them to another empty room with an experiment table within.

"Go and lay on the experiment table, I will try to end this as soon as possible. Keep a strap of leather in your mouth so that you don't bite your tongue from the pain." (Erik)

"Alright" (Minoru)

Following Erik's words, Minoru went ahead and laid down on the table, strapping a leather belt onto my face.

"Do I need to remove my clothes?" (Minoru)

"No need, just close your eyes to avoid trauma." (Minoru)

"Hm..." (Minoru)

Minoru hummed in agreement as he followed the instructions given to him by Mr.Saltzman who was taking out the stales from the suitcase.

"Please be careful, Mr.Saltzman." (Elder Retsu)

"Don't worry Elder Retsu, have faith in me, and don't forget about your part of the deal." (Erik)

Coaxing the old man, Erik stepped towards Minoru with a calm expression and multiple stakes in his arms.

He looked towards Minoru who had his eyes closed as he had ordered the latter to do.

"I am beginning, so bear with it for now." (Erik)

Erik tried his best to get Minoru prepared for the upcoming pain, he took a stake within his hand and impales the latter's left leg.

"Arghhrhh!....." (Minoru)

Minoru screamed in pain as he felt his body being held in place by locks on the table.

"One down, eight more to go." (Erik)

"Oh hell no!....." (Minoru)

Stab!

"Arrghrghhh....!" (Minoru)

Legend has it that 'he' is still impaling someone with his stakes.

---

"Will he is alright?" (Elder Retsu)

"Don't worry Elder Retsu, he will be unconscious for a few days but once he wakes up, all the pain he went through would be worth it." (Erik)

"I can assure you of that much." (Erik)
