The Eye Of The Moon Plan

Erik Saltzman was a young man, a normal student who spent his time studying and playing games. Enjoying his time with his family, annoying his little sister, singing songs and much more. His life was plain and simple but he didn't have any complaints with it. He was happy with what he had. Unfortunately, his simple life came to an end when he died at a young age of 17, courtesy of [Truck Association]. Upon his death, instead of finding peace, his soul was abducted by an Outer-God. The dangerously powerful entity was able to "convince" Erik Saltzman soul about the world being riddled with pain and agony. He asked Erik if he wanted to end this "Cycle of Eternal Damnation". Outer God:- I will grant you strength, to end this all, no more suffering and everyone will be happy. Erik:- What is the price? True Paradise is just a fantasy which can't be achieved no matter what you do. Outer God:- It is true that a thing such as True Paradise can only be dreamt of but what if we change the reality into a dream? After all, everything is possible in a never-ending dream. Erik:- What do you propose? Outer-God:- To create a True Paradise, you must first make the "Impossible" into something "Possible". Erik:- Swapping reality with an everlasting dream..? Outer-God:- The "Eye Of The Moon Plan" Erik:- Madara wasn't able to succeed, and I don't need to tell you about his capabilities. What makes you think that I would succeed in doing something that he couldn't? Outer-God:- Firstly, You aren't affected by Plot-armour and secondly, you don't blindly believe in anything, you're caution and decision making sets you apart the rest. Erik:- Hm...How do you propose to even start this "Plan for Salvation"? Outer-God:- You will be sent to a dream world, [Irregular at Magic High school]. You will need to successfully put everyone in that world into a dream. That world is heading towards its destruction, so begin from there first. Erik:-Irregular world? You do know the danger that infests that world right? Not to mention the broken protagonist and his sister, how am I even supposed to survive there? Outer-God:- That where I come in, I will grant you a few abilities which shall help you in your endeavour. Erik:- Hmm..... Outer-God:- You would ask about your family? How they are? Erik:- Unfortunately, I can no longer affect that world and from my observation, you too can't....otherwise you would have chosen someone with a higher success rate. Outer-God:- On-point observation indeed. Erik:- I can only pray for them to have a happy life and move on. Outer-God:-Indeed... ----------------------------------------------------------- •Cover:-Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint. •Release rate:-4 chapters worth 1000 words per week. Chapter-70 Ten-Masters Clan Conference pt-5

(A/N:-I have changed the format of the previous two chapters. Also, I want your honest opinion, do you guys like that I am trying my best to recreate iconic anime events or should I just stop?)

------------------------------------------------------------

"You know, I just met with my little brother and he looked quite pale and shaken." (Kyouko)

"He refuses to tell me the reason behind his current condition, a few minutes ago I saw you talk with him and my grandfather." (Kyouko)

"I was very much positive that his current condition is related to the conversation you and my grandfather had a couple of minutes ago." (Kyouko)

"Please enlighten me on the reason for Minoru's unrest...." (Kyouko)

Kyouko knew very well to ask her questions directly instead of trying to lead the conversation in her favour. The person in front of her was a businessman, someone who is much more experienced in leading a conversation.

Hearing her straightforward questions, Erik continued to smile and turned towards the balcony.

"Let's talk somewhere quiet, such matters should be mentioned in private, not here where anyone can listen to our conversation." (Erik)

"Hmm....ok" (Kyouko)

Kyouko also followed behind him, she watches as Erik picks up two drinks from the waiter on his way to the balcony.

Both of them arrived at the balcony, away from privy eyes.

(Kyouko POV)

‏‏‎ ‎

"Now what?" (Kyouko)

I carefully presented my words, trying my best not to offend him but at the same time, I had to know what was troubling my little brother.

I watched him turn around and lean against the railing, still that calm smile on his face.

"You know Ms.Fujibayashi, there is an unspoken rule between businessmen. We don't share the information regarding our deals with any third party." (Erik)

I immediately frowned after hearing his words but before I could come up with any words, he spoke.

"But...since you are family to Elder Retsu and Minoru, I can at least tell you the reason for Minoru's current condition." (Erik)

His expression didn't change one bit as he gave a gentle twirl to the glass he was holding, extending his arm towards me to offer me a drink.

I, of course, accepted the drink but didn't drink it quite yet.

I was still focussed on the important matters at hand.

I had questions to which I needed answers.

Even though I was worried about my little brother but I also didn't want to offend Erik, lest it creates problems for my grandfather.

"Please tell me...." (Kyouko

‏‏‎ ‎

"Your grandfather and me, we were talking about Minoru.....how can I cure him of his physical condition, to be precise." (Erik)

"W-What!?..." (Kyouko)

I couldn't believe what I was hearing!

He could heal Minoru!

He can do something which even the best doctors in the world can't!?

How does he even know about Minoru's condition!?

How is he planning to actually heal my brother!?

Argh! I have so many questions but I know that he wouldn't answer any more of my questions regarding this topic.

"You don't need to think too much..." (Erik)

He raised his glass to his face level, looking at the drink which conversing with me.

"Your brother can indeed be cured and Elder Retsu has already agreed to let me help his grandson." (Erik)

If he could really heal Minoru, I would owe him big time.

"How are you going to do it!?" (Kyouko)

"And what do you want from my grandfather in return? Of course, you aren't doing this for free or out of pity." (Kyouko)

After all, you are businessmen and there is no such thing as free lunch in the world.

*Shush!*

Raising his right-hand index finger to his lips, he made a shushing sound.

I voluntarily stopped speaking, waiting for him to continue.

"You don't need to know about what I need from Elder Retsu. After all, this shouldn't concern you at all ..." (Erik)

He shot down my questions in a heartbeat, taking a sip from his drink as he placed his feet on the bars of the railing.

"Everything you said seems to be the truth but I don't understand one thing, why did you not decline to answer my questions?" (Kyouko)

"You have no reason to tell me all of this..... So why?" (Kyouko)

I truly was confused as of why he answered my exams.

"Why are you doing this, healing Minoru!?" (Kyouko)

Hearing my question, his calm smile changed into an amused one.

"You ask why sometimes things happen randomly and the reason becomes apparent afterwards, these circumstances, well perhaps I can explain it to you." (Erik)

"You ask me why I am doing all this....?" (Erik)

"Even if I took the time to explain it to you, I doubt very strongly that the knowledge would change anything at all...." (Erik)

"But let's say that I do take the time to explain it to you...." (Erik)

"What do you think would happen then?" (Erik)

"My goal is to achieve something even the greatest men failed to do..." (Erik)

"What I want to create is peace and bring about justice...." (Erik)

I slowly processed his words before adding a few of my own.

"But isn't that what the government is for? Punish the guilty and deliver justice? Isn't that what we do?" (Ms.Fujibayashi)

"Just like the justice that was served when the Tokyo explosion happened last year, many of our soldiers died that day, the bombers were given a death sentence." (Ms.Fujibayashi)

"Oh, I see.....that is noble of you, protecting the nation, protecting your loved ones and family, destroying the enemy would.....be justice." (Erik)

"However, what about their family? Their friends? Their homes? They suffer the same fate as others at the hands of our rogue magicians...." (Erik)

"How is it fair to let only we people preach about peace and justice?" (Erik)

"Once the [5-Great Unions] had grown too big, to protect their national interest, they forced feudal clans to wage war against each other, and profited from it, otherwise the people would have starved." (Erik)

"As it happened many little nations and its cities became the battlefields where the Great Unions waged their war, each time they did these small nations were ravaged and laid to waste." (Erik)

"After many such battles, the Great Unions stabilized, but the smaller nations suffered, and it barely recovered." (Erik)

"People are seeking the very same thing, we all want to achieve peace, everybody is the same, everyone is motivated by our desire for peace and justice." (Erik)

"The justice that you have delivered against the bombers is no different from what they are trying to do you, everyone feels the same pain of losing something dear." (Erik)

"Everyone has experienced that pain, you strive for your justice and they strive for their justice, we all are just ordinary men who've been driven to seek vengeance in the name of justice." (Erik)

"And if one comes to call vengeance justice, such justice will only breed further vengeance, and trigger a vicious cycle of hatred." (Erik)

"Right now we live in such a cycle, I know the past and can foretell our future, it's the same as our history." (Erik)

"So we believe that human beings cannot simply understand each other, and they never will, the magician world of our is ruled by hatred and hatred alone." (Erik)

"Religion, ideology, resources, land, spite, love or just because. No matter how pathetic the reason, it's enough to start a war." (Erik)

"Justice comes from vengeance but justice only breeds more vengeance." (Erik)

"Love is the reason why there is pain. When we lose someone precious to us, hate is born. Vengeance is the product of that hate and so death follows. But in death, there is only more death." (Erik)

"This will give rise to more pain. In this cursed world we live in, it is a cycle of hatred that will not cease." (Erik)

"So let me ask you this: How will you confront this hatred in order to create peace?" (Erik)

"I want to know your answer, Ms.Fujibayashi." (Erik)

.

.

.

.

.

.

.

.

"....I don't have an answer." (Ms.Fujibayashi)

What he said is the truth and there is no denying it, we tend to twist the very perception of good and bad to fit us better.

When soldiers kill enemies, they are considered good but isn't the act of killing itself evil?

Unfortunately, that's just the way it is and there is nothing I or anyone can do about it.

"So what now?" (Ms.Fujibayashi)

I didn't know what to say.

"You are a smart woman, Ms.Fujibayashi. It would be very good if you join me but I don't see that happening anytime soon, nevertheless, you can keep my contact detail just in case you are interested." (Erik)

"It was nice talking to you, now if you will excuse me." (Erik)

"I have other matters to attend to..." (Erik)
