Within a limited corridor, two individuals could be seen standing, facing each other while conversing with the person opposite to them.
One of them wore a classic blue police dress while the other person a white coat. The police officer had an indifferent expression while the doctor seemed scared and fearful.
"Explain it to me what happened here...."
Without wasting any time, the officer immediately inquired about what had happened within the hospital.
"I-I don't know! I was checking my patient's report and exited the room after checking her vitals....."
The doctor replied in a shaky tone, he was nervous and scared as it could be seen from the beads of sweat forming all over his face.
"T-The girl standing outside the room stopped my advance and asked me about the condition of my patient..."
The doctor was unknowingly referring to the main guard that was deployed by the Yotsuba family, in an afford to make sure that Miya is safe.
Unfortunately, every single guard who was guarding Miya, whether directly or using a disguise, were all killed by Erik, who slaughtered with the intent to weaken the Yotsuba family.
"She has always been standing outside that door and would always ask me if there is any update on the patient's condition..."
"Just like every other time, I patiently answered her questioned and told her not to stress..."
He explained his daily routine, the same for the past 5-years in this world.
"B-But a-as so-soon as I finished m-my wo-words, h-her head suddenly slid from her neck and dropped onto the ground!..."
"I didn't know what happened or how it happened! She was fine a second ago b-but sud-somehow her throat was sliced clean....."
After absorbing the vitality for every Yotsuba clan individual to heal and strengthen Miya, Erik swiftly killed them all as they had outlived their usefulness and leaving them alive would ultimately put Erik at a disadvantage.
"I screamed! It was a h-horrifying sight! Hearing my scream, the other employees rushed towards my position and were equally scared as me..."
The doctor's face turned pale and his body trembled ever so slightly as he recalled the horrifying scene of a woman head being sliced off her neck by some kind of invisible attack.
"We immediately called the police and moved away from the murder scene....."
To preserve the crime scene, everything was untouched by the employees as they waited for police to come into the hospital.
"While retreating, I suddenly remembered about my patient. I gathered all my strength and courage before turning back towards the room....."
Being someone who saves lives, I couldn't allow my patient to see such a horrifying event.
"I avoided the dead body and the decapitated head, twisted open the door and entered the room....."
He tiptoed over to the door, avoiding the headless body and opened it.
"B-But instead o-of fin-finding my patient, the room was absolutely empty..."
Unfortunately for the doctor, the day was just getting started. Upon entering the room, he couldn't find his patient who was supposed to be resting on the bed.
"The multiple sensors attached to her body were scattered across the floor while she is nowhere to be found!....."
The various needles and wires that had been attached to Miya's body were all scattered across the room.
"So you are telling me that a person suddenly disappeared from within a room and no one saw how!?....."
The police officer questioned the doctor with a raised eyebrow, finding the situation a bit absurd.
"I-I don't know! Check the CCTV camera if you think I am lying....!"
The doctor urged the police to watch the CCTV recording if they weren't believing his claims.
"Sigh.....ok, thanks for cooperating doctor....."
The police officer just shook his head before turning around to leave the building and head towards his car.
He stepped out through the door and walked towards the parking area, taking out the car keys from his pocket, he opened the door and sat inside.
He picked up the phone which was attached to the steering wheel, he unlocked the phone and opened contacts.

"Did you find anything?...."
A distorted voice came through the phone call, it was obvious that the person who was speaking was using voice distortion to communicate.
"Nothing sir! I checked the CCTV recordings and conversed with the doctor and staff....."
"But I couldn't find any useful detail, it's like she disappeared somehow without a trace...."
"Hmm...pull back now, the Yotsuba family are monitoring the situation and it's not safe for you to continue with your investigation, your identity as a police officer is legit that's why they haven't found anything unusual, let it be and just deal with this like any other case....."
"Yes sir! If you don't mind me asking? Who could kidnap a highly guarded Yotsuba family member while killing all their guards and without even leaving a trace....!?"
"....I have no idea but I do know this, whoever it is, they aren't someone to be messed with especially since they killed every Yotsuba family guard!....."
(Deep within the Saegusa Mansion)
A handsome middle-aged man could be seen standing in front of a large monitor with a phone in his left hand.
He was relatively skinny and gentle-looking individual, looking more like a sharp businessman than a Coan leader.
"Who could have done it...?"
"There were no signs of fighting anywhere! Meaning that the attacker was just too powerful for the Yotsuba Family guards to handle, but what kind of monster was it whomever Yotsuba Family guards couldn't defend against...."
Saegusa Kouichi, the head of the Saegusa family, which is one of the Ten Master Clans, the real patron of the National Defense Force Intelligence 3rd Division was both alarmed and astonished.
When he was younger, the Yotsuba and the Saegusa Family's had arranged an engagement between Yotsuba Maya and him, but when he was fourteen and Maya was twelve, she was kidnapped. When she returned, she had lost her emotional connection to Kouichi and her natural ability to reproduce, so the engagement was dissolved. The incident cost him one of his eyes, which he had replaced with a mechanical eye instead of a more natural artificial eye as a reminder of his failure to protect his fiancée. He wears sunglasses both indoors and out to hide the artificial eye.
Someone was able to kidnap Yotsuba Miya from under the noise of the family guards and they couldn't do anything.
"Just what is happening!.."
