Tsuki and his friends

"Relax a little, I'll fix you up," Shisui said as he picked me up and put me on his back.

"Don't worry, I got you."

I calmed down, but it was still painful.

"Itachi, I'll go back to my house and I'll patch him up." Itachi nodded.

"Sasuke, I'll find you with Naruto and the others."

Sasuke nodded.

Shisui traveled quickly to his house, we arrived there in a few seconds.

'Shisui's house is so… empty, and neat, everything is so tidy, there are a few pictures of him when he was young and one with Itachi too…'

I looked around while he put me on a chair.

"It's not much, is it?"

Shisui asked as he wrapped a bandage around my leg.

"Ouch!" I flinched in pain as he kept on wrapping it.

"I'm almost finished."

"Shisui, have you lived by yourself since you were young?"

Shisui shook his head.

"I had my mother with me, my father is still alive but just barely, he got hurt during the war, but I learned to take care of myself and him after my mother died on the night of the nine tails attack."

"I see…" Shisui finished patching me up, and I tried standing up first.

It felt painful at first and I was limping.

"Thanks a lot, Shisui." He nodded.

"Go play with your friends, we'll talk later, alright?"

"What about my hand?"

I showed him my hand.

"Huh?! It's gone!"

"What's gone?"

I showed him my hand; it had a wound, and it was bleeding, but now it's all gone.

"Nevermind." I nervously scratched my head and smiled.

"Wait, don't you want to test out my new ability?" Shisui shook his head.

He reached into his pockets and removed a few Ryō.

He handed me money and ruffled my hair.

"Go have fun first."

"Thanks a lot, Shisui!" I hugged Shisui and then vanished in a blur.

Shisui looked at a crow standing near his house.

"Don't say it."

"I told you it wasn't a good idea."

Itachi appeared behind Shisui.

"Well, I wasn't entirely wrong, I said he could do it and he did, so I'll take this one."

"That's not how this works.

Anyway, you have so much faith in Tsuki.

Why?"

"Well, I'm not sure if I'm being honest, but something about that kid is special, it's not just the Rinnegan but…

Something just makes me want to take care of him or to spend time with him.

I want to make sure nothing or anyone ever harms him, I'll do anything to protect him, you know?"

Itachi nodded.

"I understand.

I feel the same way about Sasuke."

Shisui nodded.

"Anyway, there's another reason I wanted Tsuki to do what he did, did you see it?" Itachi nodded.

"I noticed that too, his eyes work similarly to those of the Sharingan.

He saw and predicted everything.

From what we know about the Rinnegan, it doesn't work like the Sharingan, not completely, but his works differently, it's quite interesting…

I'll try to find out more about him."

I arrived at the playground; I found everyone there.

"Hey! Tsuki! You're right on time!"

Naruto greeted me as I arrived.

"What happened to you? Sasuke said you got hurt on the way here, is that true?"

"Oh, it was something small, don't worry about it.

My leg already feels better, too."

"Hey! Are you guys coming? Waiting is such a drag."

I smiled seeing Shikamaru and Choji waiting for us.

'Shikamaru and Choji are the only ones who have never treated Naruto and me too differently. We became friends immediately in the academy.'

"Let's go!" Naruto pulled me towards Shikamaru and we began playing.

Meanwhile, at the Hokage's office, Kakashi was called in to report what he's learned about Tsuki.

Not only was he appointed to be the one who takes care of them, but he was also to report anything new about him to the Third Hokage and the elders.

Kakashi hadn't been able to make time recently because of the missions he was given.

Danzo stood up looking outside the window as Hiruzen sat in the middle and beside him were Homura and Koharu looking at Kakashi who stood in the middle, he had removed his Anbu black ops mask.

"What do you have to report to us, Kakashi?" Hiruzen asked.

"Lord third, I don't know how to say what I'm about to say.

It's quite…

Shocking."

Hiruzen took his pipe and lit it.

"What could be so bad that you would hesitate to say it directly?"

Kakashi looked down.

"Well, Tsuki found out about Naruto's parents." Danzo looked back, the meeting had just begun, and it had already piqued his interest.

"How did he find this out?"

Koharu asked.

"I believe it has something to do with the Rinnegan.

When you came by, he told me he saw strange chakra inside of Naruto, and he did research on the nine-tails attack, so he added it up."

The Hokage exhaled smoke, and it filled the air in the room.

"Has he told anyone yet?"

"I'm not sure, but I know he hasn't told Naruto yet, I doubt he will.

I think he isn't sure about Minato-sensei being his father, but he is sure about the nine tails inside Naruto.

Naruto is the only one he would trust with such a secret.

However…" Kakashi looked away, wavering as if he was unsure if he should continue speaking.

Danzo frowned, seeing this hesitance from Kakashi.

"If you suspect there's someone he's told, speak your mind, the boy knowing the truth about the nine tails is bad enough, but if he's told the wrong person, this could escalate even further into a disaster."

Kakashi nodded.

"Over the past two weeks, I've noticed something different with him.

Before, the only person he shared a bond with was Naruto alone, and even now, he still has this bond.

He follows him everywhere and is there for him too, perhaps he sees him as a brother or leader of some sort…

But nowadays, he follows someone else, besides Naruto."

"Someone else?"

"Yes.

Shisui Uchiha…

He looks up to him along with Itachi Uchiha, however, his bond with Shisui is stronger than with Itachi.

He goes to him for advice and holds Shisui's opinion incredibly high and he even defends his name."

Danzo slammed his hands on the table.

"Hiruzen, the child continues to grow stronger and smarter every day, and now he aligns with the Uchiha clan?!"

"Kakashi, you're dismissed for now."

Kakashi nodded and left.

"Danzo, you can't speak so carelessly!"

Danzo gritted his teeth.

"Hiruzen, the longer the child stays out of the root, the more he grows into a threat to Konoha.

You've proven how much you trust the Uchiha clan by even allowing them in the village after all they've done, now you'll also allow them to have the child with the most powerful Dōjutsu?!"

Hiruzen frowned.

"I'm afraid he has a point, Hiruzen.

The Rinnegan in the hands of the Uchiha clan isn't something to look forward to.

Especially now, things between the Uchiha clan and the village are tense."

Koharu added.

Hiruzen took a deep breath and put his pipe away.

"I understand your concern, however, we already denied Mikoto Uchiha to adopt Naruto, even though she was Kushina's closest friend.

Then we hid the death of Hae Uchiha and prevented Arashi Uchiha from being with his family.

If we tell the Uchiha clan that they aren't allowed near the boy with the Rinnegan, this will only provoke them even further and we can't afford the losses that will come from a civil war."

"Then I will order my root to keep him under surveillance." The Hokage shook his head at Danzo's suggestion.

"No, Kakashi will be the one to keep him under surveillance, remember what Jiraiya said?

The Rinnegan can create or destroy, if we do that, we're just tipping the scales for the leaf's destruction.

The safest course of action is to do nothing for now."

The meeting ended.

Danzo left with a sour look on his face.

(After a while, we took a break from playing.)

Choji removed a packet of crisps.

"Hey I got snacks, you guys want some?"

"Thanks a lot, Choji."

I took a handful and shared it with Naruto and Sasuke.

After a while, it started becoming dark, and we had to go home.

Itachi picked Sasuke up while Shikamaru and Choji went to Choji's house for dinner.

They left us on the swing alone.

"Naruto?" Naruto looked back.

"Do you want to have some Ramen before we get home? I have some money Shisui gave me."

"Of course I want ramen!"

I smiled, knowing that would be his answer.

We left and ran towards Ichiraku Ramen and ordered loads of Miso ramen.

We were so full we couldn't walk straight; we had to hold our bellies up to walk properly.

"Man, I'm so full," Naruto said as he fell on his side of the bed.

"Me too." I also fell on the bed.

"Hey Tsuki." I looked at Naruto.

"We should go to our old training ground tomorrow.

I enjoy training with Shisui and Itachi, but I miss the days it would be just me and you, you know?"

"Yeah, but when we become shinobi, we're getting new gear, I can't keep training with those used shurikens."

Naruto smiled.

"Yeah, you're right." Naruto slept with his hands behind the back of his head as he looked above.

I did the same.

"Sigh…"

I suddenly realized something.

"Come to think of it, we should've gotten some equipment with Shisui's money."

"You're right, instead we spent our money on Ramen…

Well, there's no going back, you know."

"Yeah."

We fell asleep like that.
