25 Bloody Sword

Long ago, one of the things Xue Ji had difficulty controlling was the urge to kill. That urge always comes with intense anger and hatred.

However, it was something that was hard to predict. Such desires and emotions always come and go. Maybe it was because Xue Ji had a grudge that was hidden and was never avenged.

Now, in the face of the trapped Scorpion Gang, the desire to kill again rose in Xue Ji's heart. Her bloodthirsty gaze reminded the sect elders of the time when that woman was about to use the Eight Winds Harmony Technique to attack them.

Elder Gu quietly approached Elder Yan. His face filled with worry. "Brother Yan, is this okay? What if Young Lady Xue kills these people?"

The question made Elder Yan waver. He finally tried to talk to Xue Ji. "Young Lady Xue, aren't we just going to take a few drops of blood from the Scorpion Gang?'

"A few drops? It won't be enough," Xue Ji hissed coldly. Her legs moved swiftly forward. Her crimson shadow flashed and then circled around the group of the frightened Scorpion Gang.

Whoosh!

People couldn't even see Xue Ji's movements. However, the sound of the Scorpion Gang's screams and hisses in pain could be heard throughout the sect grounds. It sounded terrible.

"Stop it! You… demon girl!" shouted one of the members of the Scorpion Gang who had been injured.

Xue Ji's sword was not used to injure their critical point, so as not to endanger their lives. However, the resulting sword strokes managed to cause pain on the surfaces of their bodies.

This is not a dangerous type of pain. However, this was torment pain. No one will be able to stay calm if they experience it.

The disciples who were there immediately got goosebumps when they heard the scream. They shuddered at the red blood that was splattered everywhere. So, would this be the outcome if they offended that Ancestral Great Master?

Terrified, they backed away and moved away from the bloody spot. It was enough for them to watch. They better go back so that their appetite is not affected.

The elders did not dare to interfere with Xue Ji's activities. They just gulped while looking down. A few moments later, the sound of the girl's laughter was heard. The blade of her sword shot swiftly towards Elder Ji, who was embracing Chang Ying.

The older man immediately caught Xue Ji's sword with trembling hands. The remnants of the Scorpion Gang's crimson blood rushed to the tip of the sword then dripped onto Chang Ying's skin.

The poisonous blood seeped into Chang Ying's pores. The poison contained in the blood clashed with the poison in Chang Ying's body that came from the Scorpion Gang's hook weapon.

Some people believe that fighting poison is to use poison. However, in Chang Ying's case, this was not finished. The poisonous blood would only hold it back for a while. If they wanted Chang Ying to fully recover, they still needed the real antidote.

Xue Ji actually didn't care about Chang Ying's condition. If it wasn't for Elder Yan asking, she wouldn't have helped the girl. Finally, she turned and left the courtyard.

Elder Yan immediately asked the elders to take care of the injured Scorpion Gang. At least don't let them die before Yun Mingyue returns.

The elders finally tied up the members of the Scorpion Gang. It was then that they saw for sure how injured the people were.

There are so many deep cuts. The position is very random, starting from the face, arms, legs, thighs, stomach, back, and even the buttocks. Xue Ji really didn't pass a limb unharmed.

Elder Yan looked up to the sky. It seemed that his decision to save Xue Ji from the Scorpion Gang's previous attack was the right one. He was finally able to heave a sigh of relief.

He approached Elder Ji and said, "Take Chang Ying to her room. She should be able to hold out until we get the antidote."

"All right." Elder Ji led Chang Ying away from the courtyard.

After the Scorpion Gang and Chang Ying were taken away, the sect grounds also became deserted. Elder Yan went to the Bamboo Mansion. Right now, he had some questions that required Xue Ji to answer.

When the older man arrived at the Bamboo Mansion, Xue Ji was reclining lazily on a chair. The girl seemed to be closing her eyes quietly as if what had happened earlier had absolutely nothing to do with her.

Elder Yan cleared his throat. "Young Lady Xue, thank you for helping Chang Ying and dealing with those hoodlums."

Xue Ji's two eyes finally opened. "That's because you prevented them from attacking me," she said quietly.

"My efforts are nothing. But, Young Lady Xue, I don't understand about the light net that suddenly appeared. How did it happen?" asked Elder Yan.

Xue Ji finally got up. She stepped towards the window overlooking the green bamboo garden. The cool breeze caressed her face gently.

"It is a type of capture formation. I can't remember what it called."

Such a type of formation was indeed something that would only be encountered in the higher realms. The location of Mount Luo is a remote place. Many people here don't know about the formation.

"So, Ancestor Feng placed stone monuments around the courtyard for not without reason," muttered Elder Yan, who finally understood.

"Do you think it's just decoration?" Xue Ji glanced at the older man with a hint of ridicule.

Elder Yan smiled shyly. After that, he asked again. "Then how should we deal with the Scorpion Gang?"

"Where is Yun Mingyue?"

"Vice Sect Master went to attend an official meeting at the Heavenly Cloud Sect. It will likely take some time for her to return."

Xue Ji was silent for a while. Her mind whirled about the goal she should pursue. A few moments later, she finally decided. "Let me take them to the Scorpion Valley."

That sentence shocked Elder Yan. "Young Lady, this…. Wouldn't this be dangerous?"

The rest of the Scorpion Gang wouldn't stand by if they saw their brother get hurt. And Elder Yan doubted that Xue Ji would not cause trouble there.

What if Xue Ji offended the entire Scorpion Gang in the Scorpion Valley? Just thinking about it already made Elder Yan gulp. This young ancestor must not come there!

"What's so dangerous?" Xue Ji looked at the older man lazily. "What's your name?"

"I am Yan Junchen."

"Yan Junchen, the Scorpion Gang is not as scary as you think," Xue Ji said casually. "After all… I want to meet Old Gao Cheng."

A smirk appeared on Xue Ji's lips. Various vile thoughts appeared in her mind. She couldn't wait to meet an old acquaintance.
