HIS FIRM BELIEF

Processing through a tough grind after backbreaking work round the clock ceaselessly, she progresses the medical entrance test which was held on 29th of September with flying colors. As soon as the result is announced in the month of december when the temperatures falls to 4 degree centigrade resulting in the alteration of the season into autumn, her swift footsteps heads their way to Humayun's shop, after she has enclosed herself in a long fur-coat with a hand-woven cap over her head. Entering the big hall inside, she swirls upon her heels, scrutinizing him everywhere but fails to find his presence.

"He went to the city market in the evening!"

Mr. Niaz Bukhsh's voice leaves her disheartened, who is seen maintaining his account ledger, suppressing a pleasant smile.

"Hello! Uncle, when will he arrive?" I have something to tell him. I know he would become jubilated!"

Her eager voice expresses the level of her excitement.

"Congratulations!"

A familiar manly voice roars up the hall and a tall wide man dressed up in black jeans and a leather brown jacket is seen entering with a cake-box in his hands. A blissful smile on Humayun's face performing along with prideful cheers in his eyes are doing well to conceal his weariness and over-working of the whole day.

"Did you already know about the news of my name being listed under the passed candidates header?"

She asks, staggered.

"I told you that I have faith and a sure belief in your intelligence and I never tell a lie!"

He pridefully replies, opening the cake-box along with picking up a knife. He help Uncle Niaz get up and all three of them draws a circle around the table, starring over the chocolaty words written over the cake, saying,

"PROUD OF YOU!"

"You made my day unforgettable!"

Her delightfully quavering voice expresses the oceans of warm fuzzies dwelling inside her, waving and crashing at the shore of blessedness.

"I couldn't achieve this without your help!"

The former river of happiness begins streaming from her eyes and her voice gets immersed within the bashes of party-poppers, cheerful claps and best wishes of her two elder buddies.

""You can return this to me anytime. I will never pressurize or force you! I insist you once again, never worry about it"

He whispers in her ear, standing adjacent and closer to her, while bringing out an enveloped cash, keeping behind him and passing her hiddenly.

"Uncle Niaz doesn't know about it!"

He adds politely.

"Looking forward to my further achievement! That is… the day I will return your sympathy in the best way possible and I hope that day is soon ahead!"

She replies with a firm belief and an enthusiastic decision in her mind, promising herself.
