Life Happens, Chocolate Helps
As soon as they arrived at the neighboring city, Ying Yue got off from the car and told Feng Mian that she would be at the shoot on time, so he didn't need to worry. After that, she vanished from his sight.
Feng Mian could only watch her go away with half-crying expression. All he wished for at that moment was Ying Yue not bailing on him.
And his wish is answered! Two minutes before the shoot begins, Ying Yue arrives at the site alone!
Feng Mian almost cheer loudly that she comes two minutes earlier and alone on top of that. Usually, the girls or the boys she hang out with beforehand will stick to her like a glue.
Feng Mian thanks Hui Ying from the bottom of his heart for being such a kind, beautiful, and understanding woman. Is she a fairy sent from heaven to help him? If that's so, he will gladly let her have another date with his queen. Feng Mian can now relax because there's no pest to disturb the shoot.
The location for the shoot is an ancient Chinese palace. They're going to shoot for a commercial for a new skincare line that picks up the theme royal beauty, entitled "The Beauty of Empress".
On the script, Ying Yue will first dress up as a young beautiful girl and will be singing by the lake under the moonlight where she meets the emperor who's attracted by her singing. The emperor falls in love with Ying Yue then, he'll bring her to the palace and make her his empress.
The last scene will show her turning her head towards the camera while she's in the emperor's embrace. She will then let out a confident and beautiful smile. The main highlight of the commercial will be the scene where she smiles.
The crew has already set up their equipment and is currently waiting for Ying Yue to finish up her make up. While the make up artist is doing her work, Ying Yue falls asleep peacefully as if she has no worries in the world at all. She even drooled just now in which the makeup artist had to wipe it off and touched up the area again.
Feng Mian shakes his head looking at her. He wonders how her fans will react if they see this scene. Their queen is currently sleeping while hugging both of her legs. Her head keeps falling back to the point that the makeup artist has to hold it with one of her hands while the other working on her face. And she has to constantly wipe the corner of Ying Yue's lips every time she drools.
Feng Mian really has nothing to say. This woman is either sleeping or eating. It's like she can't get enough of sleep and there seems to be a black hole in her stomach or something. Oh, she also goes on a date with girls and sometimes men.
The most irritating part is if he asks, she'll just say, "I'm just having coffee with them" or "I'm just having a meal with them", implying that she has no intention to date them.
Just friends.
Sigh.
My queen, but they don't think the same! You're the real demon for giving them hope.
She is 23 but barely got her life together. Too wild! Too free! Feng Mian has many things to complain and lecture her for. But, whenever he sees that peaceful face of hers, every words are swallowed back instantly.
She looks just like a child right now. In fact, if one look closely, she actually has a baby face. That's one of the reasons why she cut her hair short, got a tattoo, and loves to wear simple but cool style. It's all for covering her young looking appearance. Luckily though, she is around five feet ten inches which help her looking like a full grown woman.
After another twenty minutes has passed, the make up has finally done. Feng Mian shakes Ying Yue's body 'till she's awake. She reveals a grumpy face as soon as she wakes up. However, before she can say anything, Feng Mian shoves two chocolate candies to her face.
"Dark or white?" He asks.
Ying Yue glances at Feng Mian's serious face.
"Dark," she answered before taking the chocolate away from his hand.
They both tear the chocolate's wrap and toss it into their mouth, before walking out of the tent with a smile on their face.
Like they said, "Life happens, chocolate helps."
