128 Frost Slayer
Noah opened his eyes, he was currently lying on the tiled floor of the Ancient Water Serpent's cave.
The cave had returned to what it was before. The corpse of the Serpent had changed back as well. Since it wasn't a Dungeon Lord's its body didn't disappear.
Noah stood up his sight filled with announcements. He looked at the final one to appear.

D++ Class
The fourth part of the Four Seasons Ancient Inheritance. Created 10,000 years ago it was the last section of the four-part inheritance to be completed. Only one person may inherit the skill and is marked with a 'snowflake' to show they are the successor of the Winter Style.
The skill combines the use of natural energy and physical training to gain transcendent abilities. The Winter Style, based on winter, signifies coldness and death. Out of the four parts, Winter Style was made for killing your opponent swiftly and painlessly as possible.
Currently has been trained to 'High Proficiency'.
Active Skill: [Cold Mind]
Enter a state of Emotionless and focus. The mind loses all extra thoughts and increases the body's combat strength to a maximum. Movements have a faster reaction time. The perception of time is slowed by 5 times.
Passive Skill: [Frozen Heart]
Your heart has transformed to ice! It now beats slowly and decreases your body temperature slightly. Through this, you gain resistance to outer temperature changes. You no longer get tired as quickly and are able to conserve a lot more energy.
Additional effects-
-Resistance to Negative Emotional skills. (Skills affecting mental state have a higher chance of failing.)
-Resistance to Ice Elemental Energy and Fire Elemental Energy. (Your heart is able to negate some of the effects of both elemental energies causing them to deal lesser damage.)
-High affinity for Ice Magic and Skills. ( Your body has changed to use ice magic and skills better.)
Noah sighed in relief, it seemed like Frozen Heart was the reason he was still alive. He actually didn't know what skills he would awaken, it was normally affected by his circumstances.
Frozen heart formed due to the last attack from the serpent. It gave resistance which he was fine with. It wouldn't be helpful in normal fights but in a battle like he just had it would be useful. What stuck out was the last effect.
"I gained an affinity?" Noah read the description, other than the Spatial element he didn't actually have an affinity for any other element. This was why he wasn't so keen on learning any elemental magic.
Blessed Mind let him use all magic, but he would still be worse at using times compared to someone with an affinity to it.
A simple example was Kira, on how her fire spells did damage that went off the charts. Her attributes weren't high enough or she would be able to do as much damage as Black Cero with a D Class spell.
Now that he gained an affinity it was different he then closed the notification looking at the others. He had quite a lot to go through.

Closing all of them, his view finally cleared. He understood what people had been talking about on Earth. It was unexpected being given a time limit, he would've delayed killing Ancient Water Serpent if he knew, but he couldn't change anything now. He would just have to speed up in killing the others.
For now, he was more interested in the drops.

That was everything that dropped. It was quite less compared to an A Class dungeon Lord but it made sense. It was an S Class non-dungeon monster so compared to how they normally dropped nothing this was a lot. Plus each item in it was a lot more valuable than everything that had dropped in the Goblin Castle.
The 99 scales were each large and thick like metal sheets. They made most of the pile. At its top, all the other items were littered in.
Noah immediately picked out the S Class skills. Just seeing them had blown his mind.
Noah couldn't believe his eyes, he looked at two books, Frost Slayer and the other Traceless Arrow. Frost Slayer was a book made of Ice numbing coldness while Traceless Arrow felt like it didn't exist, it was this clear water book with an arrow drawn on it.

He couldn't see a description of what they did but he guessed they were related to the skills that made the most impression during the fight with the Ancient Water Serpent. One was the attack that went through his armour and was untraceable. That was probably Traceless arrow. It was restricted to people with Bow Mastery so he couldn't learn it.
Frost Slayer felt like it was the Serpent transformation skill. The transformation the serpent used after he had destroyed the pearl was similar to the energy the book gave off. Noah picked it up, he had an affinity to the ice element so he decided to learn it.

A skill created by using the energy of an S Class being. It allows you to slay enemies with the power of extreme coldness. The system does not have sufficient data on it. You must learn about it yourself.
Noah closed his eyes and tried to activate it, compared to other skills it was a lot more complicated. It took him ten minutes before he started to emit cold energy from his body but it soon turned off as all his mana emptied.
"I'll learn about it later," Noah said sighing.
He then picked up the A Class skill, Six Serpent Lock and learned it as well. He then started storing all the items into his Goblin King's Satchel. He snapped his fingers and the Black Demon Card appeared, it sucked in the 10,000 gold on the ground.
He picked up a light blue orb.

One of the 21 orbs needed to unlock the World Gate.
Noah kept it away. He then picked up a piece of card.
[D Class upgrade item ticket]
You may upgrade a D Class or lower with this ticket to the next Class. D Class to C Class has a low probability while F Class to E Class and E Class to D Class is 100% certain.
Noah put it away. He didn't know where to use it. Using it on one of his weapons would be best, but he didn't want to risk it. For now, it wasn't necessary to use so he would keep it for later.
He picked up a glass bottle that was filled with a sparkling blue liquid.

Drinking this you will permanently gain the Sea Serpent's Blessing. A blessing that will allow you to move freely underwater.
Pulling the cork, Noah drank the whole thing. He didn't see why he needed to delay.

Not feeling any different he moved on to pick the D Class boots that had dropped.

Passive Skill: [Ice Skating] When activated, cold energy pushes you up and forms ice skates on the bottom of your boots allowing you to speedily skate on all surfaces.
Passive Skill: [Cold Sink] The boots absorb coldness and improve your ice magic. 20% decrease in mana cost for Ice magic.
Active Skill: [Slicing Ice] The ice blades under the shoes are covered in sharp ice energy.
The boots were light blue and white, they were similar to ice skates on earth just a bit bulkier. He switched his current ones for them. As he did he lost the Intimidation Immunity he got from the seven-piece armour effect but what could he do? The Ice Serpent Skates were just so much better.
Wearing the skates the cool energy from them entered. He tried using Frost Slayer. This time he was able to have four of his fingers covered in ice ready to release energy. He waved his right hand.
Crk! His mana completely emptied as a long wave of small icebergs instantly formed from halfway down the wall to the place he was standing. Noah touched the ice and could feel the coldness even with the existence he gained it still hurt, he even had ice start to cover his hand.
Pulling his hand back, he covered it with Qi as he punched with all his force. Thud! Nothing happened to it. Buffing himself completely, he activated Yin Yang Reifocement and Darkness Descent, Shing! Shing!
Still did nothing. Even in his strongest state, he couldn't do anything. He put his sword away. The ice was not only solid, it didn't look like it was going to melt soon. As if the coldness formed a barrier around it stopping it from melting.
Noah stopped experimenting with the ice. He had cleared everything he now had to open the Special Diamond Chest.
[Unknown Stone]
2x [Mana Crystal] (A Class)
A white stone and two mana crystals. He put the mana crystals into his Black Demon Card. He still wasn't sure of the conversion between Mana crystals to gold but he knew A Class was very valuable.
As for the Unknown Stone, it was a simple white pebble. He held and only questions marks from it. He ended up tossing it up a few times seeing nothing change then put it away.
Before he left he looked at the corpse on the ground then opened his inventory and put the whole thing inside one of the three empty slots. He normally didn't take the body of monsters, but an S Class was different.
There was nothing left to take, he then turned around and made his out. Getting so many high-class materials he immediately thought of a dwarf that could help him make use of them.
