Vincent finally opened the reward boxes from his completed missions as he walked toward the school gates. He didn't bother reading what tasks he completed and just wanted the rewards. 'System open all rewards.'

'Note to self-open rewards when they come in.' Vincent wasn't upset with the results. He had everything he needed now. He had a powerful weapon, phenomenal teachers, outstanding martial arts, and a way to block snooping eyes. He clicked on the description of the prizes he didn't know about.

[Bloodline Isolator- It will isolate one bloodline and prevent the user from losing it. It can also be used to seal someone's lineage completely.]

[Enlightenment Scroll- They are scrolls that let the user enter a state, allowing them to comprehend things they could not before. There are different tiers and ranks. The higher the scroll, the more significant comprehension the user will receive.]

[Affinity Scroll- A sporadic type of scroll. They will unlock one random element for the person who opens them. They are also divided by tiers; the higher the level, the rarer the element will be.]

'What tier are the enlightenment and affinity scrolls?' 

[The enlightenment scroll is in the ascended realm. The Host should use it on either the staff martial arts or the footwork techniques he has learned. The affinity scroll is in the ascendent realm as well. They were initially in the Saint realm, but due to Host's negligence, they dropped to the ascended realm.]

This time, Vincent felt the pain of not opening them sooner. 'It's ok, Vincent. There will always be next time.' He sighed and got into the car. Greta greeted him.

"Hello, Master Vincent. It is good to see your training has been going well." Vincent's body had changed. Before, he was tall with an average body. Not too skinny but not muscular either. Now, he was athletic and toned. His height didn't increase, but the air around him had changed.

"If you call me almost dying daily, well then, yes, it has been swimmingly." He chuckled and turned back to his system. 'System, are there any other bloodlines on which I can use the bloodline isolator?'

[Scanning...scanning...Two bloodlines were found—Grimms bloodline with 2.3%. The other one is the frost-lightening serpent, with 23% purity]

Vincent didn't suspect him to have another lineage. He quickly clicked on it to see if the system had any information.

[Frost-lightning serpent- A serpent born on a barren ice planet that suffered galaxy lightning storms. It was born with the ability to control the temperature and make it below freezing, and when it became an adult, it could even freeze the wheels of time. Over time, it evolved to absorb and control lightning. It learned how to manage water and create ice, granting it four abilities. Temperature control, water manipulation, ice creation, and lightning manipulation. It is now extinct.]

Vincent had to control his facial muscles not to give anything away manually. 'How the hell do I have that bloodline!? I was born on Earth, and I am human. I'm pretty sure my mom didn't have that hobby either.' 

'System, can you tell me how I got that serpent bloodline?'

[It can be the Host's other ancestor. The Grimms were each born with a beast's bloodline. It is possible that the Host's ancestor gave away or separated a little bit of the bloodline. It is also possible that the Host's ancestor traveled to different worlds, mating with the women there or letting the men do the same.] 

Vincent's mind went blank. 

[Does the Host wish to use the bloodline isolator? If the Host does, please select the bloodline and what the Host wants. The Host can either seal or isolate it to prevent losing it.]

'Hold on, I am going to take the blood ritual tonight, so wouldn't the serpent bloodline be awakened as well?'

[No. The serpent bloodline and the Grimm bloodline you have inside are separate. If they were together, the amount of Grimm blood you have would be higher. If you don't isolate the bloodline, then you risk losing it.

The Grimms' bloodline is at a higher tier than the serpents. It will not let anything taint it. Each Grimm gets a beast's bloodline catered explicitly to them.] 

'Then, if I isolate the serpent bloodline, I will receive another beast's bloodline tonight?'

[That is correct. The Grimm bloodline will awaken and give you a beast's bloodline.]

'I would have three bloodlines, and I know I would have at least three affinities. I definitely can't risk losing the serpent's bloodline. System isolate the serpent bloodline and prevent me from losing it.'

[Isolating...isolating...Isolation was successful. Anyone below God's realm level will no longer detect it.] 

Vincent breathed a sigh of relief that made Greta look back at him in the mirror. "Master Vincent, I am sure you have nothing to be worried about. I am sure the ritual will go as planned." 

Vincent smiled and nodded his head. 'I hope it goes as planned, too.'
