Vestia informed out of courtesy after all, if Valmus had the stats necessary to kill Gods as beginner character then the game balance would royally be wrecked.

Valmus appeared within the world of Vestia Online with a flash of blinding blue light alongside several identical flashes. As beginning characters, their activity was limited to beginner villages.

Fortunately, the world was expansive, so there were countless beginner villages based on one's region in the real world. Seeing as Sam was a citizen of the Island Nation of Elvor, he spawned inside the village he was somewhat familiar with―Black Water Village.

He separated himself from the mass of players and stood a distance away as he adjusted to his Avatar while performing some light stretches.

'It feels awkward but not as severe as I thought it would be. Compared to Carl's memories, it feels nearly twice as good. I guess this is the effect of having a ton of points in Control without investing any points.'

By the time Valmus finished stretching, those who were swift had already adjusted to their Avatars. Just like in the past, many of the players who started the game were excited to begin leveling. Some even thought about rushing off to the leveling fields before even receiving a class to increase their leveling efficiency.

After all not everyones performance was like Valmus' a majority had died and lost a lot of their achievements and thise that did survive barely had any achievements that would be vame changing.

However, those who were intelligent and familiar with the route of MMORPGs decided to receive a class. But, there was another piece of information that these people didn't understand. Receiving a class wasn't as simple as requesting one from a mentor.

First, your attitude while in their presence played a notable role in the chance of receiving the desired class. A mentor's approval was pivotal in this process.

Secondly, their stats played the heaviest role of all. The four Unassigned Attribute Points given upon creation weren't just for show, nor were they for thoughtless use. It was best to save them until right before they visited their mentor.

However, this knowledge didn't circulate in the community until weeks after the launch. A few people experimented with their stats and happened to receive their class with no issue.

'Black water Village,.... if I remember correctly, it's the one Dimitri became the First Player to have a Forbidden Grade Curse along with a Divine Grade Blessing,' he mused while stroking through the village.

' I had Initially planned to bulldoze through the Beginners Village and enter the Scrounge Forest, that's where the hidden Dungeon of Vatos should be as I'm opting to be geared to shadow, darkness Class and abilities,' he accessed but his gut told him the Temple bordering the Barren lands should be rewarding encounter.

Much like Carl had predicted Valmus was indeed playing Light Faction in Vestia.

'Fine I'll check it out.' He planned as he walked towards the Villages church.

It was unlike those of towns and cities, it being quite smaller, it did however handle all it's tasks without fault.

" Good morning, I'm wondering if there's any tasks within the Church?" Valmus asked one of the nuns within the Church that had just happened to pass by.

She sized him up and down before nodding and leading him through the halls towards the Priest's Office.

" Priest Anders," she knocked waiting for a response which didn't take long as a tired voice replied

" Come in," she opened the door revealing a small room with a desk, chair, small shelf of books a small altar of sorts with twelve figures on it.

" This man was asking for any work within the Church, I thought it'd be wiser to let you handle it as I can't gauge his strength," she reported.

" It's alright, you may leave," Anders replied to which the nun left.

" And who might you be young man," he begun as soon as the door closed.

" My name is Valmus, I'm new to the village and thought it'd be good to help out a bit while trying to get a handle on where I am." He replied.

The Priest sized him up for a bit before rubbling his temples.

" Your quite strong, too strong for this little village, your strengths are equal to a level 100's give or take meaning your close to being as powerful as me if not stronger."
