Mystery box and techniques

While zero and the old man ate there was a couple shadows near the cabin peering in and watching the two eat. He the looked over at his comrade and said "Let's go report this to the boss". The shadow said " Yes let's go imagine the raise we will get". They both left into the darkness of the night.

During this period of time zero was scarfing down all the food that was put in front of him. In his pass life zero was a poor kid and could not get a proper meal usual. So when the old man offered the food zero agreed immediately and thank the old man. The old man looked at the youth in front of him eating and let out a slight chuckle. After they were finished with dinner the old man showed zero to his room.

Zero walked into the room and looked around. Zero saw that there was a huge bed in middle of the room with two night stands on each side on the left side of the room had a closet with some decent looking robes. On the right side of the room was a bookself with a bunch of books on it also there was a weapon rack that had a few common weapons on it. Zero had a excited expression on his face when he saw the books in his pass life that was one if not his only hobbie was reading books actually he almost read all the books in the library well before you now(Death).

The old man saw the expression on zeros face and could not help but smile he then asked "Do you like reading books" . Zero said "yes". After that the old man said if you stay and read all these books there are more in the library the it is right across the hall from you. Zero said thank you then the old man shut the door.

Zero then went up to the books and started looking over the titles two caught his eyes. The first was called "Sword technique:Sneakey snake". The second book was called "Basics to magic" zero was really excited for this one as when he was growing up like most other kids he pretended to have magic and liked the idea of throwing around fire balls. Zero spent most of the night reading these books and only went to sleep when it was around 12:00.

Zero woke up early in the morning because he wanted to try and learn the basic sword technique and the basic magic but was interrupted by a system notification.

Zero was surprised by this he did not expect to receive quest he though he would just have to train. After a while of thinking it over he accepted the quest thinking 'How hard could it be'. About 3 hours later he completed the daily quest, zero was sweat profoundly and he looked out of breath while he was breathing hard just after he finished the jog he heard a noise.

Zero then started to add the free stat points to his agility making it go from 7 to 9. Zero instantly felt electricity flow throw his body he new that some how he had become faster and had more stamina. After a while of thinking of what to do next zero went into the cabin for breakfast he could smell the aroma from outside.

When zero entered the room there was food on the table and the old man looked as if he was almost done eating. Zero went to the table and said good morning to the old man before he started eating. While he was eating it was silent the old man and him did not have anything to say to each other at the moment and so when zero was finished eating he exhausted himself and went to his room.

Once in his room he read over the basic magic guide one more time and realized that everyone that goes on the path of magic need a grimorie so he was thinking of how he can obtain one there were three choices steal from a rich family, have it passed down to you, or find one ether from a beast dropping it or in the dungeon. Zero was sad at first then realized that he still had that mystery box from the daily quest so he said mystery box and it appeared his hand. He opened it and it started floating in the air then something hoped out of it and the box was gone.

Zero looked at what the mystery box had drop he saw it was a book and thought to himself that he was the luckiest guy ever. He picked up the book and used his only skill inspect. When he inspected it this poped up.
