21 First Animal Encounter

Without fear .. he summoned his short blade and cut through the vine like tofu ..

with his wide range attire lenses ... he scouted for any living creature nearby ...

he had not come here to kill .. instead he had come here for a research to fix the information the man in the book wrote ...

while the information wasn't wrong .. it was far from being the correct information ...

the scientist combined with the man .. only made a simple research from the animal's blood and genes to determine their battle status ...

with fighting he could make his own information correctly ...

if he could encounter animals ... with average strength and all of its attributes .. he would fight it and gauge its strength out while suppressing it ...

this was the oy viable option for him as of now ...

he took off into the air and scouted from above to see any animal or the so-called earthly monumentals ...

after scouting for whole three hours ... he finally found something from afar ...

it was a lion ... a male lion .. twice the size it's normal size ..

it's wild fur coat was darker than usual ... and it's mane was longer than usual as well ...

it was walking around the greenery growling at the greenery around like a crazy buffoon ..

but truth be told .. Terminus knew that it wasn't crazy ... in its vicinity were a few man eating plant monsters ... camouflaged by the greenery and the thick green moist covering 20 metre radius ...

Terminus quickly flew over to the lion and tried to engage in battle with it ...

the moment he flew by 4 metres towards it ..

it turned to look at him and growled angrily as it raised its big paws to strike him ...

the latter avoided the strike so easily .. it seemed as if like he wasn't even taking his opponent to mind ...

he then suppressed his strength to the 2 000 and balanced all of his stats to the same number ...

giving him an Overall Fitness of 8 000 ...

he punched at the lion with his tanned skinned fist uncovered ...

when the other paw met the fist ... a thumping sound was heard as the lion stumbled back before balancing it's steps ...

it's eyes went wary as it's stared at the black figure with interest ...

it fiercely pounced on him opening its giant black maw ... it's large canines bearing at him ..

terminus held his hands out and behold !!!!

Black Samson caught the lion by its giant mouth tried to open it up apart but he exerted far little strength ...

he was calculating in his mind ...

this lion could surely be an animal that had only evolved from the wild instead of evolving from the nearby source .. so its strength was a little bit inferior than he thought ...

"Strength of 2 190 ... Agility of 2 000 ..."

he thought to himself as he kept dodging the lion's paws like they were drenched in poison ...

this went on for 1 hour and 15 minutes and still .. the lion had no signs of giving ...

when another paw came in view ... he kicked it back and punched the lion's head with all of his strength still in 2 000 ...

he continued this for 15 minutes and found the exact status for this lion ...

from his Nano Stick came out a notebook and a pen ...

he wrote his results ... "Stamina 3 400 .. Vitality 4 000 ... mind tricks are not effective on it ... it's intelligence is high ... " after writing all of this he wrote down the Overall Fitness ...

he then took out another book .. this one had the words "Bestiary" ... on its front cover ..

it's front page had no author but the contents had what the first page would have ...

he wrote down on the blank clean white page ... he took a photo of the lion and made it stick at the top left of the third page ...

he took out a pen that had blue markings on it .. running down to the tip of it....

he pressed a tiny button on its top and the pen started writing like a machine on the page ..

it did as Terminus instructed ...

after writing the information .. he took out another book .. and this one was rather smaller in size compared to the other one ..

inside were drawn pictures of military rankings and interstellar rankings ...

he wrote down his first information about the strength of a person with an Overall Fitness of eight thousand ..

even if the stats don't match ... a person with the very same Overall Fitness would unleash the strength of a person with similar fitness .. however if they competed in what they excelled in .. the pair would lose to themselves ...

he also wrote down some proper rankings for himself when he encounters an animal with such fitness yet different stats ...

he noted down every aspect and every special trait the lion had ..

Terminus didn't stay too long around the area .. though .. he quickly flew forward ... with great speed ...

and even so ... his eyesight wasn't in the least hindered ... he gaze swept across the greenery ...

after flying for a dozen miles .. his eyes caught onto an animal ...

it was a deer ... a female deer the size of two bull male sized deers ...

it had snow white fur .. it's eyes were pure white as well ..

when his eyes landed on this deer .. he felt as if like its presence .. contained pure holiness ...

the deer on the ground looked towards him in the air .. and then returned its head back to the ground and started grazing as it ignored him ...

from what Terminus could deduce about it was that .. it had a high defender .. and high attack power ...

but guesses couldn't quite give him a correct answer so he decided to confront it ..

when the deer sensed his presence .. it immediately went on alert mode ..

it raised its hooves up at him and grunted loudly stomping at the ground continuosly as if provoking him to come at it ....

Terminus paid no heed to its nonsensical acts ... instead he landed a few metres away from it and analyzed its body for any weaknesses ..

apart from it's neck the only other weakness it had was it's eyes ....

although Terminus had planned to write every detail about every animal he met .. he wasn't planning on writing their weaknesses ...

when thinking of humans .. he knew that if he did write the weaknesses down ... they would kill and even worse annihilate the entire animal societies ...

so he kept the details to himself and just approached the deer with caution as he increased his fitness level to where it perfectly suited the deer ...

when he crossed 15 metres between him and the deer ..

the animal ran to him ... with a loud grunting noise ...

when it's dark black metallic like hooves met the ground ... the ground beneath him ... covering 20 metres radius would shake ...

Terminus looked at it unafraid ... he lifted his fist and threw it towards the enraged deer ...

now that it was infront of him .. he realised that the deer was actually much bigger up close than when viewing it from the top ...

it was twice his height ... it's body was 5 metres wide ... its head was 3.5 metres wide ...

... when it's eyes gazed at the incoming fist ... it raised its head up and accelerated with even more speed ...

just when the fist was about to come in contact with its pure white clean fur .. it raised its big hooves .. and came slamming them down at the human boy

..

Terminus seeing the big hooves coming down at him .. he raised his hands and stretched his palms ... at the hooves attempting to stop their advance ...

the deer cared less about the human trying useless attempts ...

but when its hooves stopped in mid air .. it's suddenly tried to run away ...

however its hooves remained in mid air ... it struggled and wiggled all it could yet its hooves remained in place as if time itself had stopped ...

Terminus clenched his palms around the deers hooves ...

he summoned all of his 4 000 points strength and lifted the deer from the ground ...

when the deer was off the ground Terminus slammed it down ...

the deer seeing the ground suddenly getting smaller and suddenly get bigger ... it wiggled even harder ... it's fear increasing as it grunted ...

Slam!!

the giant body made a small dent on the greenery ... smashing the soil up into the air ...

Terminus let go of the deer and summoned his book ...

with his mechanical pen ... he wrote down his results ... each containing it's perfected details ...

the first two animals he had met were a part of the animal book the old man had written ...

he had only given some of his modifications ... and compared to the status of the White Deer in his newly written book and the other old man's book ... his was not perfect but it had an accurate count of status points .. an animal had ...

for example .. if he was fighting an animal with the base strength of 382 .. he would only feel the 380 .. strength points ... the additional two points were nonexistent ...

on the other hand ... the old man's book was based on experimented results and guesses ...
