Chapter 39: The Forest of Echoes - Elara (Part 2)

Elara woke up in the morning. The sun shining from overhead as she smiled. The feeling of warmth filled her heart as she turned in her bed. Her red hair was a mess as she frowned. Stretching lazily, Elara got out of bed with a smile on her face.

She was excited as she knew today, for today Elara and her Grandma would work on a new painting together! Elara would paint the lake as Isolde painted the sky. It was suppose to be a breath taking painting that would show the view of two artists in the same canvass.

The smell of freshly cooked eggs wafted from the kitchen while Elara was brushing her ember curls. "Elara! Breakfast is ready!" Grandma called.

Walking from her bedroom to the kitchen, the place was organized chaos. Her Grandma usually never stepped into the kitchen, it was Elara's place after all.
