7 Abnormal Shifter

Eren could do nothing but look at the newly formed Titan; Mikasa stood on her feet, fourteen meters tall, leaving out a roar that made every tree nearby shook, almost breaking in half but hearing her roar, Eren couldn't help but notice something was different, it sounded different.

Eren's eyes looked at the two things he found strange about her Titan, first was her teeth; they seemed to be crystalized teeth instead of normal ones, and the second thing was that her hands were fully crystallized. Her body figure showed that she was a female Titan.

"Mikasa is us," Armin called her out, his voice different due to him talking through his Armored Titan, his voice deeper and different.

Sadly calling her wasn't the brightest idea Armin ever had when Mikasa turned around, making eye contact with Armin in his Titan form, narrowing her eyes dangerously and looking at her prey; Armin barely registered what happened next, swinging her hand, punching him in the face, creating a large SNAP sound that echoed throughout the forest.

Breaking his armor like it was made of glass, the punch's force caused Armin to be sent flying in the air like an arrow, his bone armor falling to the ground as his body landed roughly on the ground, destroying every tree around him.

We are making way too much noise; Armin, though worried, knowing something like this could be heard from miles away, especially since it was the middle of the night and it was dead silent.

Before Armin could think of anything to stop this, the ground started shaking violently, as if an earthquake was happening around him; looking up in time to see Mikasa running towards him, but before she could reach him, Eren jumped at her, tackling her body to the ground.

Eren opened her mouth to speak, but only grunts came out, much to his annoyance; seeing that trying to talk was going nowhere, his green eyes focused on Mikasa, who stood up quickly before rushing towards him, each step they made was like a loud earthquake, aiming her fist to punch his chest, but Eren saw it coming, just as the fist was about to collide with his chest, Eren quickly moved to his right, evading the punch at the right time, his arm moved around her neck, blocking her right arm and head, having her blocked, Eren quickly used his leg to hit her behind her legs causing her to fall, with the added force of Eren.

Mikasa collided violently with the earth, making the ground split, and the trees around fell on the ground like cards; Mikasa screamed in pain before using her free left arm, ready to punch Eren, when Armin, who had stood up, jumped on her left arm, using the whole strength of his body to keep her done.

Seeing that both of her arms were blocked, she started screaming, her scream spreading for miles away, much to Eren's horror, her legs moving around violently, wanting to escape the deathly grip.

"Mikasa, it's me, Armin, and Eren; we are your friends," Armin tried to speak again, but this didn't have the desired results.

Mikasa started shaking, even more, moving her body around as much as she could in her situation, wanting to escape somehow, find any kind of opening.

Eren was seriously thinking of forcefully pulling Mikasa out of her Titan when she opened her mouth far wider than ever before; both of them braced themselves for another scream when she used all her strength to bit Armin's arm, right at his elbow, her crystalized teeth shattered his armored before her jaw shut down tightly, the rest of his arm falling off much to their shocks but before they could think of a solution, now Mikasa was able to free her left arm, gripping her hands tightly around his head.

The strength slowly destroyed his bone armor, making loud SNAP sounds; Eren could see they needed to end this right now; knowing their time was limited, Eren decided not to be afraid of harming her.

With all his strength, pushing his legs firmly against the ground, he used his upper body to lift her whole body up, before with a mighty throw, smashing her face into the ground, causing a massive crater, the wind wave blew around, before Mikasa could try to stand up.

Eren jumped on top of her, using his strength to keep her down, opening his mouth wide open; he bit down on her nape, ripping her flesh out, and blood flew everywhere, exposing Mikasa to the air.

Armin chooses that moment to pull her out of her titan quickly but gently not to crush her accidentally. The moment the tissue that held her glued to her Titan was forcefully ripped apart, her Titan started decomposing, and steam spread around.

Eren was breathing heavily, a sigh of relief escaped his lips, but he quickly gained back his composure, his attention on his surroundings, knowing for sure that someone probably noticed something like this; just as he was about to kneel down and come out of his Titan he somehow heard the sound of... wires far away.

His eyes widened in alarm, turning quickly to Armin, who, unlike him, had heard nothing; he had come out of his Titan and was holding Mikasa in his arms.

Seeing the alarmed look on his friend, despite having a Titan face right now, the blonde bowl head could still easily read the emotions showed in his giant ugly face. Gesturing with his hands, Armin gasped but understood what Eren was trying to say to him.

Run away right now

With that, Armin started running away as Eren started running the other way, making sure his footsteps were loud, but that wasn't really necessary for a 27-meter Titan.

Seeing his friend running away, Armin prayed that Eren would make it out somehow; he knew it was a gamble, but he believed that Eren could make it out; since the beginning, he was always the one who protected him from the bullies, him and Mikasa.

Running away as fast he could, only now Armin heard the sound of wires coming closer, stopping dead on track, hiding behind a tree; thankfully, whoever was using ODM was a bit further away, not close enough to see Armin.

The blonde wondered how Eren had heard them from so far away; perhaps it was just another one of his many abilities, one of them being able to see in the Dark.

Soon the sound of wires and gas went away; Armin waited for a whole minute of not hearing them before coming out, releasing a sigh of relief; his shoulders slumped down; he knew they couldn't train anymore, not for a long time at least.

Getting a better grip on Mikasa, Armin started running away towards the house where he, Mikasa, and Eren slept. He knew Eren was in danger, but he knew his friend better than anyone. I know Eren won't easily go down; after all, he has been training for over a year now; yes, he will safely return, Armin thought with conviction.

Meanwhile, Eren stopped running, knowing he was far away, whoever it was that was chasing him, he just hoped that Levi wasn't amongst them, Eren didn't know how good he was, but Eren knew he didn't have the title of Humanity Strongest Soldier for nothing. Thankfully despite being a night with barely a moon to illuminate the dark, Eren's Titan eyes could clearly make out the figures stopping in the trees; to Eren, it was like a light illuminating the darkness around him. He knew he had an advantage compared to whoever was here.

His eyes narrowed; he could see a dozen of figures, counting he knew there were at least ten soldiers; his Titan was too damn tall; suddenly, a wired sound ringed in his ears, quickly shifting around just as a soldier raised his swords to cut his nape, Eren didn't even try to block it knowing...

SNAP, the swords shattered like glass. "WHAT?!" The soldier cried out; seeing the soldier go away, he thought perhaps this was enough to convince them not to attack; suddenly, his ears were bombarded with the sound of wires everywhere, and a swift cut on his knee made Eren fall on one knee, knowing he needed to get away, he immediately used his other leg to stand up and try to run away ignoring everyone around him, but the soldiers started cutting the muscles around his arms and legs.

Dammit, they can't cut my nape, but I can get tired, but I don't want to harm them, Eren thought just as a wire hit his chin; a flash of red flew by his eyes, knowing this was a good chance.

Eren quickly grabbed the wire; the scream of the woman reaching his ears made his stomach turn upside down; he didn't want to harm them. Pulling her close to his face, the woman screamed louder, thinking this would be the end; her figure was upside down; Eren used his other hand to grab her body.

Eren quickly grabbed the woman with his massive hand, but gently enough to not crush her or break any of her bones; ignoring her cries of terror, Eren turned around to face the others; he quickly showed her still alive in his hand but gave them a warning look to not get closer.

"Petra" one screamed in terror, seeing that his teammate was in a hopeless situation, taking a step forward before being ordered to stop by a tall blonde.

Eren barely paid him attention, only now noticing that everyone had stopped attacking; Eren was thankful that whatever damage his Titan body got didn't translate to actual pain that would have been painful.

Eren quickly checked everyone, ensuring they weren't trying to make a sneak attack, Petra was desperately trying to open his hand to free herself, but even she noticed by now that this Titan wasn't trying to crush her or eat her.

Eren felt his body healing; standing up on his legs, now fully healed, he thought of letting Petra go before running away, knowing their gas would eventually run out. They wouldn't be able to chase him forever; thanks to his sensitive ears, he would be able when they would stop chasing him, allowing him to leave his Titan form and go back to Mikasa and Armin.

Before he could do that, he heard a voice reaching his ears. "You're not like the rest. Can you understand me?" Eren was quite shocked to hear the blonde man talking to him. Giving him a second look, Eren could only see that the man was the Commander of the Survey Corps, Erwin Smith.

Despite being a Commander only for over a year, he had already shown that he was different from the others. Which only reinforced what his father told him about Erwin Smith, to trust him.

Eren thought of perhaps revealing himself, but that would be too dangerous; he had already put them in danger, not mentioning right now one of them was imprisoned in his hand; no, not yet, at least.

Knowing he couldn't actually talk, Eren released a grunt from his mouth that made everyone tense except the commander, who looked at him curiously.

Eren raised his left hand that wasn't occupied; his index finger stretched out; he wrote something on the ground; the soldier couldn't tell what he was doing since it was already too dark; they could hardly tell that he was actually writing something. Finishing it, Eren slowly and gently put his hand close to the ground before opening it, leaving Petra out, who crawled away immediately, looking at the Eren's massive Titan form with fear but a hint of curiosity as well.

Everyone was quite shocked, except a few, and they didn't really register Eren running away again before he was already far away.

"Don't chase him," Erwin ordered, seeing Levi wanting to go after it; everyone looked at Commander Erwin, who simply jumped down using ODM gear; Petra looked slightly pale but was slowly returning back to normal.

Her squad walked up to her, helping her stand up and saying that she was alright and asking if she needed anything, perhaps drink some water.

"A light here," Erwin ordered; not being able to see what their strange friend had written, a soldier quickly brought a lantern to illuminate the place. Looking down, Erwin almost gasped, seeing fully written words with meaning instead of just scratches around the dirt.

"Impossible," Nanaba said in astonishment, saying what everyone thought at this moment; Erwin couldn't help but nod in agreement.

Mike nudged his nose; he could still smell the Titan; he was about half a mile away right now. Levi kept his composure; the only sign that he was surprised were his widened eyes that returned back to normal almost immediately.

Erwin had been working late with Levi and Mike Squad for a project; when he saw multiple yellow lighting far away into the forest, he had quickly ordered Mike and Levi Squad to come with him to check. Mike had been the first to tell everyone that he could smell Titans far away, but according to him, their scent was far different, and the closer they got, the louder the sound got, and the shaking of the ground around that made the trees shake was very noticeable.

Arriving there, everyone had been surprised to see a Titan much larger than the others, being beaten only by the colossal Titan in terms of Size. The two squads had been quick to notice that the Titan was running away; when it finally stopped, they expected him to attack almost immediately, to look at them with hungry eyes, but instead, he just stood there unmoving, only eyeing each one of them, with intelligence behind his eyes. Erwin ordered to take it alive, but their attempt failed at the last second.

Now looking at the words, Erwin couldn't help but have twenty new questions on his head, one of them being...

Where are all these giant Titans going? One couldn't simply disappear out of thin air; no, despite checking the Forest many times, we never saw footsteps left by the Hiding Titan; no, he just disappeared like that; hmmm, Could it be???!!!

Perhaps I will need to tell Shadis to keep an eye on the cadets this Year...

Returning back to the base had been uneventful; it had taken a few minutes for Petra to come out of her shock; no one could blame her; being grabbed by any kind of Titan was probably one of the worst fears for any Survey Corps member, not mentioning she was caught by something much larger than normal ones.

"Hange will have an orgasm when she hears that we saw a new type of Titan," Eld commented, earning nods of agreement from almost everyone. Everyone knew about her undying love for the Titans.

"Knowing her, she will probably curse us for not capturing it or not having the opportunity to see it herself," Levi mused with a slight smile, hidden by everyone since he was wearing a hoodie.

Some actually laughed from Levi's comment; the Ackerman hated to admit it, but he was looking forward to seeing her reaction; it was always amusing, except when she took things a bit too far.

Later

"WHHHHHAAATTTT," Hange screeched, her voice almost shattering every window in the HQ. Unlike the others, Levi, Mike, and Erwin closed their ears, knowing she would probably have this reaction. The rest winced; why couldn't she be a little quieter...

"Be quiet shitty glasses; we are right here," Levi commented; Hange's eyes were wide open, looking at them in a strange and unsettling way that gave them all a bad feeling.

"Oh, Please Tell Me More Right Now," Hange demanded, drooling from her mouth, making Levi disgusted; why was it so hard for people to keep themselves clean.

Rolling his eyes, Levi first ordered his squad to sleep; it was already too late; after that, he, Mike, Hange, and Erwin reached his solar, where he kept all documents and every meeting.

Closing the door, seeing that everyone was comfortable sitting, Levi gave her a brief recap of what happened after hearing everything.

"He Wrote. He Wrote," Hange squealed, a constant smile on her face. Not only was there a new type of Titan, but this one wrote!?

This will be a long night, Levi thought, glancing briefly outside through the window, looking at the vast forest outside.

After Three Days

While Mikasa's Titan had proven to be quite strong, they quickly discovered the cost of having multiple abilities. After Armin arrived at their home, he had tried to wake Mikasa, but all in vain, her breathing the only sign that she was alive.

Armin waited for a whole hour until Eren arrived back; he had been concerned and for some time thought of perhaps going out and searching for Eren, but he quickly reminded himself that he needed to have Faith in Eren.

After an hour, Eren returned, breathing heavily, asking if Mikasa was alright; they both decided to wait until she woke up.

That didn't happen until after three days of sleeping; she stirred, opening her eyes slowly, the bright light of the sun making her wince, her eyes half-open.

"What happened?" Mikasa asked, her head almost spinning, her vision blurry until she felt the strong arms of Eren holding her close to him.

"Thankgod You woke up; I was so worried," Eren said with a worried tone but happiness as well, keeping her head against his chest; Mikasa felt her cheeks flushing at the close contact with Eren; he rarely showed such a tender side, then he did something she really didn't expect, kissing her forehead making her blush, but she quickly covered with her scarf.

Something noticed only by Armin, who laughed nervously, rubbing his neck; he thought of perhaps pointing it out but quickly decided that he was too young to die.

Eren explained to her what had happened, leaving out the parts where she had almost harmed Armin seriously.

"I'm really sorry, both of you," Mikasa apologized with a downcast look, knowing she could have easily harmed them seriously; she barely remembered anything of what happened; all she remembered was Eren injecting her with the blood; after that was all darkness, an empty void of nothingness.

"Don't worry, Mikasa, you are already forgiven. I didn't expect your Titan to be a mixture of different Titans but don't worry; the second time is much easier. I'm sure you will be able to pass this blockade," Eren encouraged her with a gentle tone; he didn't want her to think that she was dangerous to them in any way. Mikasa didn't feel she earned it but decided to keep quiet for now.

Later, they decided not to train anymore; the risk of being found again was too high right now; Eren explained about his encounter with the Survey Corps, leaving out the part that he would have been captured if it wasn't for his nape that was crystalized all the time.

"So, we are going to wait until the training Corps to do anything; what do you think we should do, Eren?" Armin asked, sitting cross-legged on the floor, same as Eren and Mikasa, forming a circle.

Eren thought about it, personally. He doubted there was much they could do, but they could hopefully find people they could trust there, but they had only one syringe left with Royal Titan Blood; Eren knew to create more, he needed the spinal Fluid of The Attack Titan, which was easy to obtain but he also needed the blood of a Titan with Royal Blood.

Something he had no idea where to acquire it, the only people left in the world with Royal Blood that he was aware of were apparently Rod Reiss, the actual king of the walls, his brother Zeke if he was actually still alive, and even if he was still alive, he had chosen to support Marley.

Damn it; I wonder where my father acquired the Royal Blood of a Titan?! He thought, not knowing the answer since his father hadn't mentioned it.

"That's not much we can do, but we can get friends and allies and, if possible, figure out the identity of the other Titan Shifters," Eren said with venom at the end, his hatred coming out whenever the Titan Shifters were mentioned, he would make them pay.

"You think they will be there?" Armin asked, leaning forward a bit; Eren nodded his head without hesitation.

"There's a high probability, my father mentioned that the mission was to take back the Founding Titan that I have right now, they will want to get close to the Fake King somehow, joining MP is a good step," Eren concluded, earning a surprised look from Armin and Mikasa.

"Your logic surprises me sometimes," Armin commented.

"Only sometimes!" Eren objected with an annoyed tone, but they both could tell he was joking.

"Well, you aren't exactly the sharpest tool in the shop; you're like a broken watch that is right at least twice a day," Armin joked, with Eren grunting but smiling in amusement.

Mikasa giggled, enjoying the moment as much as she could. I'm happy like this. I will make sure their smiles will never disappear, she thought with a longing look on her pretty face.

Year 847

"Everyone attention," a voice boomed in the air like thunder making all the cadets straighten up, looking forward, not daring to utter a word.

The voice belonged to a man who slowly approached the group of the new cadets. Instructor Shadis was a tall and intimidating man. He was bald, with prominent wrinkles on his forehead and dark circles around his eyes. He had a small beard growing from under his chin. He was wearing the standard instructor's uniform for the Training Corps, consisting of black boots, grey pants, a dark-grey button-up shirt, and finally, his brown jacket with the Training Corps insignia on both shoulders and over his left breast.

"Listen here, maggots, my name is Keith Shadis. You are here to be trained to become soldiers. Unfortunately for you, I'm your instructor for the next three years. I will be the one to decide if you are ready to fight the Titans or if you're only Titan Food," he shouted, his voice booming throughout the whole field.

Eren kept his gaze forward, not allowing himself to be intimidated by his words; he knew the moment had arrived; after three years, he would bring down the people who destroyed his home and make sure The Eldian here would live safe.

Father and Mother, I hope you're looking at me...
