Arren had also told Spade that Rave was the protagonist of that book, but in consideration of his friend's privacy, he still chose not to divulge too much about the white-haired omega than was necessary.

After all, most of its contents were not really connected to them, and his fragmented memories of that novel couldn't be relied on this time around. 

Spade's memories about those events that transpired later on were much more reliable than his own. Since, unfortunately, Arren didn't manage to remember what happened in the war for some reason he didn't know. 

He didn't even know how the book had ended, or more specifically, Rave's situation during or after the war. It was all unknown to him. 

Though there wasn't even the need to know at this moment, there was no way they would let what unfolded before happen again. And Rave's life wasn't just a novel, and Arren wasn't that disappointed at this point.
