Just like that, Arren's heat lasted for almost five days. Even Arren couldn't believe it, since it was longer than he expected. However, it was also reasonable since the intervals of the waves of his heat were also hours apart, and they became longer as days passed. 

Overall, this heat was indeed different from his first time, and it wasn't that painful at all. He could only hope that his next heats were also similar to this one. 

Even so, once his post-heat arrived, Arren still needed to recover from the days of sleepless nights and get his health back from not eating anything at all aside from energy bars and such. 

Spade still accompanied him for a day before he had to return to his duty as an emperor, with a bunch of work waiting for him. Both had to return to their reality, as there was currently a war happening.
