"Man, it's really storming outside" says a woman to a man laying on the couch looking at his phone.

"It seems to be a severe level 10 flash lightning storm on top of us

"Knock knock… knock knock…"

"I'm coming" says the young woman, currently nine months pregnant.

"Creak" the door makes a sound as it's being opened. Outside is a skinny man in a hood quickly looking around, "May I help you" she asks.

The man quickly walks past her, disregarding what she said. "Hey, what are you doing!" a middle aged man says as he jumps off the couch to the man walking in.

"I don't want any trouble, but I can't be outside." "But why did yo-" the man starts to say as he gets cut off from his wife.

"Here, why don't you take off your cloak, I can make some tea and-"

"NO, my cloak stays on!" says the cloaked figure in response to the woman's suggestion.

"I am not taking off my cloak and I am not going back outside!"

"But Why…" says the woman as she reaches for the cloak.

"NOOOO!" the man yells as he smacks her hand away while pushing her, inadvertently tripping her, making her fall over.

"HEY, DON'T PUSH MY WIFE LIKE THAT AGAIN!" the husband says as he jumps to grab the man's wrist.

The man tries to deflect the husband's grabbing hand but it shoves his shoulder, causing him to fall over near the woman on the ground.

As he hits the floor, his hood falls off revealing a scorch mark on his bald head.

Suddenly his face turns grim as he realizes the implication of this, "oh no, I'm gonna die" he quietly says to himself

The man starts breathing heavily as the husband walks to his wife, not taking his eyes off the man for a second.

Outside the storm almost seems to be heading to the villa on top of the mountain.

As the storm finally stops moving once its center is directly above the house.

It finally lets out an earth shattering electric blue lighting bolt that strikes straight through the house, looking as if it could pierce the earth.

As it finally reaches the level that holds the three people, aiming straight for the man in the cloak.

Suddenly as it's about to land, it redirects heading straight for the woman as if it's attracted to her… striking her stomach, with a loud bang.

The woman suddenly vomits blood all over the husband and the floor… not moving.

Seeing the scene, the man forms a cruel smile as his eyes widen, "hah… I'M ALIVE!!!" the man shouts to no one in particular.

Suddenly as if undead, he stands up shaking a bit, before dashing for the door and not looking back at the man crying over his wife who had realized that she was gone…

For several hours the man stayed like this until he couldn't cry anymore and fell asleep with his wife in his arms, sitting slouched over until someone found him and called an ambulance...

Later that night, a child was born from his dead mother, a child with a scar.

A scar that would remind him of pain, a "birthmark" of unknown origins that would curse him for a very, very long time.
