75 Chapter 74- Prologue

[Third Person's PoV]

Cid AKA Shadow was seen floating in the night sky. He was wearing his usual attire whenever he would appear as Shadow, he had a black robe with a slight purple accent, what appeared to be obsidian armor underneath, with his hood from his robe up, slightly covering his face.

In his arms, stood a pink haired Sherry Barnett, who doesn't go by Barnett anymore for obvious reasons.

At the moment, Shadow was showing Sherry where her new home would now lie, The Hidden City of Nightingale.

"So what do you think?" Shadow asked with a smirk.

"It's absolutely Amazing" Sherry said in awe forgetting her fear of being up so high and her previous experiences for a moment.

Shadow then carried her in a princess carry which made Sherry's face turn beet red. "W-W-What are you doing?" She stuttered out, embarrassed by her new position.

Shadow looked at Sherry in confusion "Is there something wrong? All I'm trying to do is bring you down."

"I-Isnt there a b-better m-method" Sherry asked shyly while still stuttering.

Cid nodded his head "Of course they're" he said as he very slowly brought them to the ground.

"W-Why aren't we doing them then?" Sherry asked while covering her face with both her hands, she looked at Shadow, who turned towards her direction, and with a playful smile just said "No where would the fun be in that? Now I'm curious about why you are being shy when we already experienced our first kiss together."

"Ughh, I forgot about that." Sherry muttered to herself.

"Huh? You really forgot our first kiss together!! Did it mean so little to you!!!" Shadow said exaggeratedly and sarcastically, which Sherry didn't seem to catch on.

She waved her hands slightly towards Shadow's face, she started shaking them rapidly as she said "No, No, No, No, No, No, in fact I rather enjoyed it"

Sherry shut her mouth with both of her hands and looked at Shadow with her eyes watering.

Shadow turned and looked at Sherry with a teasing smirk "Oh? Did you now? Want to do it again?" Shadow asked with a raised brow.

Sherry didn't say anything and just covered her face with hands and after a few seconds nodded her head and peeked through her fingers looking at Shadow expectantly.

Shadow made her stay floating with Rulers Authorities, while slowly and softly prying her hands off her face.

Sherry closed her eyes when her hands came off her face and puckered her lips. Shadow wanted to laugh watching her puckered lips but decided not to as to not make her insecure.

Shadow held her face which caused Sherry's puckered lips to start quivering.

Shadow lowered his head and pressed his lips against hers, at first It started off as a chaste kiss, after which Shadow decided to take the lead.

Shadow turned Sherry so she was floating upright in front of him, face to face. He grabbed her waist and pulled her closer, and as he did Sherry laid both her hands against his chest.

And as they continued kissing Shadow soon landed on the ground. After a few minutes both Shadow and Sherry backed away from each slightly.

Sherry looked like was drunk with a happy expression on her face and as soon as Shadow stopped using Rulers Authority and put her on the ground she almost couldn't even stand up straight.

She kept almost tipping over, tripping over her own feet while mumbling nonsense while also giggling to herself.

Shadow smirked and licked his lips "Delicious"

Which caused steam to come out of Sherry's head, she kicked her feet up as she was about to fall, luckily Shadow caught her on time.

Shadow then used his calming magic to help her calm down which worked slightly as she was still feeling embarrassed about the embarrassing display she just showed.

"Better?" Shadow asked in a teasing tone to which Sjerry nodded her head.

"Good, C'mon let me show you around the base."

Shadow started to walk ahead while Sherry followed close behind. They soon arrived at the entrance of the City which was empty.

"There's no one guarding the entrance?" Sherry asked confusedly.

"There's no need" Shadow said casually, which just confused Sherry even more, Shadow found Sherry's confusion amusing and turned towards her and chuckled "watch this"

Shadow put two fingers inside his mouth and let out a very high pitched whistle, which was followed by a loud boisterous roar.

Which made Sherry jump in fright she scurried over and hid behind Shadow and waited a few seconds later a huge serpent was seen flying in the sky which scared the Hibijibis out of Sherry.

Her eyes widened in terror "A-A-A-A-A D-D-Dragon!!!!" She shouted and crouched down to the ground covering her head.

After waiting for a few seconds, she noticed that she was still alive and peaked through squinting eyes.

Her eyes widened in shock, the scary dragon she saw was nestling its snout against Shadow's chest, like it was demanding compensation for its duties, while Shadow patted the dragon they both stood looking over a Sherry in amusement.

She quickly got up and cleared her throat and moved on with the conversation hoping they wouldn't bring it up.

"I-Is that really a dragon?" Asked Sherry incredulously, "Aren't they supposed to be extinct or very close to it?"

Shadow nodded his head "You're right they are. Anyways Met Hazzard the mist dragon, Hazzard meet Sherry a new recruit"

Sherry bowed her head to the point her knees and forehead were almost touching. "It's nice to meet you Mr. Hazzard, sir."

Both the dragon and Shadow started laughing much to Sherry's embarrassment, although she doesn't know why they're laughing.

The dragon then started speaking "You really shouldn't be speaking respectfully to me, Madame Sherry, after all it would be improper if the wife of my master started speaking to me like that"

Sherry blinked a few times thinking she heard wrong, so she asked "Excuse me?"

"Yeah Sherry, my subordinates would find it weird if my wife spoke to them respectfully no matter how much I tried to change it" Shadow said, nodding his head with a sigh while patting Hazzard's snout.

Sherry turned towards Shadow and started blinking rapidly once again thinking she must be hearing things

"Pardon me…WHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAT"
