Chapter 18: A Strange Shop

The shop was very small, but there was a red plaid costume displayed in the small window, as well as a furry cat ear headband and a cat tail.

Although the cat ears looked normal, the length of the costume was between a swimsuit and a bra.

Cheng Heng saw Zhou Miao looking in the direction he wanted, so he stretched out his hand and pointed. "Ears…" 

Zhou Miao pulled his hand down. "Okay, okay. You get back into the car first. I'll help you buy it, okay?" 

Cheng Heng's eyes were blank, but when he saw Zhou Miao's expression, he nodded eventually. He lowered his head and returned to the car, nibbling on the carp pancake. 

Zhou Miao sighed and asked the driver to remain in the car. Then she mustered up her courage and walked into the store.

That was really too much. Could these adults-only erotic shops not make things with plaid or animal designs!

Cheng Heng finished two carp pancakes, but Zhou Miao had not returned.

He held the third carp pancake and stared out of the window blankly, hoping to see Zhou Miao return with the cat ears he wanted.

Zhou Miao's face was very glum. She carried a few big black bags and walked back to the side of the car. These bags looked very classy, and they were even inlaid with gold.

Fortunately, it was a self-service shopping store. Otherwise, Zhou Miao felt that she was about to gouge out a villa with her feet.

When Cheng Heng saw Zhou Miao, his eyes lit up.

Zhou Miao took out the cat ear headband she had just bought and put it on Cheng Heng's head. This kind of thing was usually inlaid with black lace and bells, and it would tinkle when touched.

Zhou Miao looked at Cheng Heng's goofy appearance and felt lost for words in her heart.

"Red plaid…" He cheered up momentarily as he wore the cat ears, then mumbled as he rummaged through the bag.

Zhou Miao bought all the animal-design headbands in one go. Cheng Heng took out the red plaid costume from the heap of headbands and handed them to Zhou Miao.

"You… wear this." His eyes were sincere and bright.

Zhou Miao looked at his hopeful eyes and also blushed.

Although she knew he only liked the red plaid design, this costume was really… If it wasn't for Cheng Heng's special condition, Zhou Miao would definitely shout that he was acting like a hooligan before giving him a slap.

"I'll wear it for you when we get back." Zhou Miao stuffed the clothes back into the bag haphazardly and promised him. "Honest, honest. I'll definitely wear them when I go back."

Cheng Heng looked at her and smiled, and the number beside the smiley face above his head increased.
